Love this place. Got there for happy hour for BOGO Free appetizers. Food is great. I got the fried lobster tail and the street corn. The bartender was AWESOME and had excellent comradery with the customers. Drinks were good.
Sunday, Father's Day was my first time at Agave. It was delicious, we enjoyed our time there, the Arnold Palmer Margarita was amazing!
Although tight quarters in the main dining area but also comforting and romantic. I treated my boyfriend for father's day. I was thrilled to see the 'Tequila Anejo Shrimp' was on the menu, I ordered it and enjoyed it immensely. My boyfriend's steak was tasty and tender. Topping it off with a peachtree margarita made for a great evening. I will be back again.
Agave never disappoints! Great food and drinks.
Food was excellent. The only issue I had was when our food came they took it to wrong table and set it down in front of another person. Really did not please me. Also could use some acoustical panels to reduce noise.
Definitely enjoyed my visit to Agave. They never disappoint!
Margaritas, food, and service was amazing! Definitely looking forward to going back.
I love Agave!! The food is fantastic, fresh and tasty. Wait staff are gracious and knowledgeable about the menu items and the pricing is not bad for the quality of the meal. Highly recommend!!
The fried chicken was a bit tasteless, disappointed, but would go back and try something different.
Agave never disappoints, food was delicious as always. Fresh, tasty, seasoned just right!! From the shrimp and grits, pepper salmon w/ julian vegetables and even the chocolate mousse was delicious. The server was attentive. A great dining experience
I call it Mexican fusion!! The style was great but the substance was really missing. Calamari was cooked to perfection but the sauces seriously missed the mark. The red/sweet sauce gave you no reason to want it. The green creamy sauce was just greenish and creamy without purpose😔I had the shellfish/muscles the presentation was amazing with the nice red color and that’s all. There was a mild citrus flavor and chili other another miss.
Also if that wasn’t enough to he kitchen server came out with out entree and the table was still dirty from the appetizers, at this point he looked at the clutter table and just shows the dishes on the table aside and squeeze the entrées onto the table didn’t take the dirty plates away I left them there!
Still one my favorite restaurants in Atlanta! I've been coming to Agave for many, many years, and it is consistently amazing! From the top-notch margaritas, the scrumptious guacamole and chips, the tasty avocado and tomato salad and the unparalleled Crawfish Diablo Pasta (which, to me, is absolutely one of the best pasta dishes in Atlanta), every menu item I've ever had here as been spot-on! The service is always perfect, and while it can get a little too loud the ambiance is still lovely and laid back.
The food was excellent...the service could have been better.
Amazing food and atmosphere.
Outstanding as always. The filet medallions were great and my dad loved the crawfish pasta.
Coming from CA, we fund east coast Mexican food very different than west coast, and not a good thing. We LOVE the New Mexico style and the hatch green chili’s ever since being in that state, so when we saw the menu we had to give it a try. Loved the meatballs, chili releno, and chicken quesadilla. Dessert was the key lime pie, which was light and refreshing. Since we don’t drink liquor, we appreciated the nice wine list. We will be back for more!
Agave is a tried and true restaurant. We love going there for any occasion.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Agave. The drinks and entrees were quite tasty. I ate scallops. The grits had a nice kick and everything was prepared well. Everyone promises to return!
Amazing food and drinks! So much flavor in every bite. Our server was amazing too! All around, Agave exceeded my expectations. Will 100% be coming back here whenever I’m in Atlanta.
Agave was absolutely amazing! Next time I visit Atlanta I will definitely stop in for dinner.
Entrees were very good. Service was not consistent but very helpful and friendly when available. Would not get the ceviche again as very little shrimp in ratio to tomato. Same margaritas on second round tasted quite different. Chips and salsa really fresh and addictive.
Every time my wife and I dine here, we ask "why don't we come here more often?"
Host was terrific and secured a wonderful table overlooking restaurant and kitchen.
Server, Erin, was attentive, hospitable
Food always delicious
Visiting from out of town. What a treat to find this restaurant while exploring The Grant Park area. The food was great. I had Swordfish cooked perfectly as was the Burrito for my spouse. The service by Erin was spot on. We loved the look snd feel of this place very much. Would be good date night spot for sure. Thanks Erin for being so accommodating to our 7 year old dinner companion.
Our experience was phenomenal. My boyfriend took me there for our weekly date night and our server, Zach D, was extremely knowledgeable . I’m pretty sensitive to spice so he took his time guiding me through the menu and explaining in full detail with entrees would best suit my taste buds. We started with the spring rolls and the fish tacos which were delicious but no match for the stuffed mountain trout and the swordfish, just amazing! So tender and juicy. We ordered the fried chicken to go and I’m already planning on ordering that as our appetizer next week when we go back. It was phenomenal!
On top of the great food, the staff was the cherry on top of the perfect dinner Sunday. The manager, Mark, had a great floor presence. As a previous restaurant manager, I can definitely appreciate a hands on leader. The restaurant is just a well oiled machine. You can see the teamwork and the pride put forth by the entire staff. Delicious and timely drinks and food! Never had to ask for water refilled. All needs were anticipated before we even realized what our own needs were! I highly recommend agave. Just a great overall experience.
I was SO disappointed! I took clients after a meeting and there seemed to be only one server for the entire first floor and balcony and she was moving as fast as she could, however, my shrimp had obviously stayed under the heat lamps until it was dry and tough and only of my guests dishes looked the same way. My skinny margarita hadn't even been stirred. After having been there often from the time they opened this was not the meal to which I was accustomed. Even though it was a Monday night, the restaurant was pretty busy and they should have had more help.
This was my 2nd time at Agave and my 2nd time to be served by Che'! Che' was excellent and spot-on with her drink and entree suggestions. Food and drinks were very tasty and made for a great dining experience!
I was visiting here from out of state and i found this place on opentable. RUN, don’t walk to this place. Fabulous drinks. Great service, and delicious food. Make sure to try the coconut margarita!
It was a great experience.I can definitely check it off my bucket list!Probably won't go back but I would recommend it to others.
We had a great time. Lisa at the bar took great care of us. The appetizer and main course were prepared correctly. Will be back again very soon.
My man and I was out on the town and found this place on open table and made the reservations. We get there, and they have complimentary valet, we were like “oh okay, that’s nice” (totally unexpected). Then we go inside and I give my name and we’re seated almost immediately (gracious host at the door). The setting we were totally feeling. It’s pretty dimmed in there (my man wear vision devices and needed to use his flashlight on his phone lol). So it did take the waiter (Erin) a little while to come get our initial order, but after that she was pretty much on it. So we order calamari for appetizer, we weren’t impressed at all. It tasted unseasoned, and just fried in flour. However, we weren’t trying to be complainers so we went with it. Our drinks come, and I prefer to sip from straws, had to find out that you have to purchase one for $1. I politely sipped out the glass. Then we order our entrees. I ordered the lamb meal (medium well) with fried lobster tail, and my honey order the NY strip (medium) with shrimp meal. Meal comes and we’re like “ummm.” So we said grace and began tasting each other’s food. Both my grilled lamb and his NY strip tastes charred as heck. Again, we’re not trying to be complainers, so we were taking more bites, hoping it was just a part of the meat and not the whole. So our waiter comes back to check on us, and she asked about the food. I told my honey to speak up (he’s a pleaser and don’t like to complain at all), and she inquired about his steak. We expressed to her that his steak tastes burnt. She offered him to order a new meal or send that one back. He insisted on keeping the original steak she brought out (being polite). So this is what made all that charred meat taste so good, the waiter saw the discontentment on his face and ordered a separate steak. Now this steak looks pretty and it was tender. Needless to say that Erin boost up our experience. Initially we weren’t going to return. Now, we’ll return to order a different meal. TY
Agave is one of Atlanta’s best kept secret. Never had a bad experience.
I love this place!!! The food is always excellent and the service is even better! This is one of those places where you eat everything on the appetizer menu while you're in the restaurant and then take your entree home! Definitely, one of my favorite "go to" spots!
Good food. Very good service. Interesting menu.
Great as usual. Great food, service, and good environment.
Valet parking guy even brought my car to me before I could show my tix.
Great food as always! Love the greens
Very very loud always....but we do love the food. Good neighborhood spot
First time at Agave, but it will not be the last. Fabulous food and drinks. Great ambiance for our anniversary. Heather our server was awesome and we also met some locals from the neighborhood. I had the red fish over risotto and my wife salmon over squash and zucchini. Both dishes were just magnificent.
The waitress for our table was very courteous, the other restaurant staff was oblivious.
Went with my wife for our anniversary. They brought us complimentary champagne. Food was delicious and drinks were great! That was our fourth time there. Will continue to visit.
