Using only the freshest ingredients, Chef Avona's menu offers a diverse selection of pasta, steak, veal, chicken, and fresh fish which changes daily. Antonio also offers an Award Winning Pizza menu including Capricciosa, Margherita, and more. For wine aficionados, the wine list features an extraordinary selection of Italian wines, all very reasonably priced with many served by the glass.
Open Monday through Friday for lunch, and seven nights a week for dinner, Antonio invites you to enjoy their excellent wait staff and warm dining room ... or linger long on the marvelous outdoor patio. It's like spending an afternoon or evening in Tuscany!
The food is good. I was happy with the service. The noise level was far too high throughout the meal. For us, this is important but others apparently aren't bothered and for them I would recommend it based on the food and service.
Ordered Penne pasta was served regular spaghetti. Front desk staff did not notice or acknowledge us at all. Requested window table and was given table that was along side fireplace so no view. Still would go back but..
The food was amazing and our waiter was the best. Great sense of humor and very serviceable. We highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was absolutely amazing, we loved every bite of our meal. The downsides aren't huge deals but worth noting. If you add a note to your reservation don't expect them to read it, this was for our anniversary and we asked for a nice quiet table off to the side, instead we were seated dead center in the middle of the room, and it was not due to lack of options. Another thing that is just odd was the music selection, why would anyone want modern pop music playing while sitting down and having a nice Italian meal, it ruined the ambiance but the food was great. Overall a good meal at a fair price, but the service and music could use some changes.
We had the fish specials, Char and Salmon preceded by the soft shell crap appetizer. Delicious and perfectly cooked with lovely sauces. Next time, we’ll try pizza.
For a minimum of $18 entrees the service should be exceptional. Everything about my experience here was rushed and uncomfortable. My date commented that it was “an expensive Olive Garden.” That was a bit embarrassing for me. Our server did not know the menu, and only made suggestions for more. Overall worst service I have had at this price point ever. Went in with the intention of getting the works with multiple courses. However the experience was so bad that I was trying to get out asap. Lastly if you are paying $18-$20 for pasta dishes, it shouldn’t be out in less than 5 minutes after ordering. How fast the food was out was very concerning and makes me think that our food was not made to order at all. Very disappointed!
It had good ambiance and the food was good. It was a little busy so the service suffered just a tad, but the live music was more than comforting in the mean time
I love this place. I’ve done business lunch, business dinner and romantic dinner - all both inside and out. A welcome oasis Excellent Italian food, great service. As I said, I love this place.
Every time we come and we come here often at least twice a month, we get very incompetent and condescending wait staff. If a waiter has to write Chicken Parmesan on a notepad for order and still mess up the order, you have problems on your hand.
If a waitstaff cant recites daily specials you have problems on your hand.
Calamari and meatball appetizers very good. Salads and main course average. Under seasoned and pasta slightly over cooked. Service spotty. Seemed uninterested.
This is our first visit. Loved everything from service, ambiance and food. Will visit again.
Great neighborhood and outdoor seating area. Food was good and came out fast; wine was pricey. We will be back, as we live within walking distance.
It was our first time there and we all agreed that we will go again. Tables are a little close to each other,
I kept getting hit on the back of my chair.
And a table of 4 older adults used foul language for everyone to hear.
After they left it became much better.
Very good food. Attentive waiter. Will go there again.
Wonderful meal. The patio was amazingly well maintained and very comfortable. The food was exceptional and the wine special was quite reasonable. Everything from the antipasto to the tiramisu was excellent. Top notch service.
Waiter could be less pushy to order additional items
What a lovely dining room. The service was outstanding. Our Flounder was delicious as was the wine. The blueberry cobbler warrants a return soon!
I had the salmon with dill sauce and brussels sprouts, and my friend had the risotto. Both were very good. The salmon was fresh from Alaska. We shared the chocolate mouse dessert- so good.
As always, food was great and service was perfect. Today we treated ourselves to souffles and they did not disappoint One of our favorite restaurants!!
Fantastic. Sat outside on patio, while it was raining. Delightful. Excellent food and service.
Overall everything was just ok ... not bad but nothing that would bring me back. The olive oil dip for the bread is good ... but I would not have served the bread that was served with it. Pasta was over cooked, more along what you would get at a chain restaurant.
Dinner for 4 @ 5:30. Initially service was great. For some reason it took way to long for our entrees to come out. Salads and calamari were very good. Our table ordered lasagne, clams with linguini, pasta carbonara and egg plant Parmesan. Everyone loved entrees with one exception. Egg plant Parmesan tasted like tons of melted cheese on a very over cooked egg plant. Waiters were friendly. Atmosphere was enjoyable. Price was very reasonable for what we got.
Our experience was fantastic! The service was great and the food was amazing! Most definitely will be going back when in town!
Good service and great food as always. I try to dine there every time I’m in town.
Our dinner was wonderful and the service was awesome! I love the ambiance and it is a perfect place to meet a friend and visit. We never felt pushed to hurry up which is important when you want to visit!
Definitely was worth dining at Antonio’s.
The food and wine was fantastic and our group had a memorable dining experience.
The service was very good and we will definitely go back
Very good service and ambiance. Main course good. Salad bland. Vegetables steamed without butter, sauce or seasoning.
food was excellent. we had a great evening. we have been going there for several years!!!
Israel and his staff are outstanding. Top level dining and the prices are reasonable. Be sure to try to calamari fritta!!
Birthday celebration for me. Had a great time. Food was awesome.
Great service--attentive but not intrusive-- and wonderful food. This is now officially my "go to" place for Italien food. Can't wait to try everything on the menu!
Every time I dine there it is always excellent from the food to servers and to the chef, Antonio, as well.
The restaurant was amazing!!! The food and wine were delicious!!! We went to celebrate my birthday and our waitress surprised us with free dessert and a candle!!! They made sure we had a great time and the food was so good!!!
Nice place, good food, but took a long time to get our food. Also ordered a second beer - and after 15 minutes, had to stop another worker to tell our waiter we still hadn't gotten our beer.
Real italian restaurant in Dallas! Need to visit more time to taste the rest of the menu. The spaghetti with meatballs and the carbonara were delicious!
one of our favorite restaurants. we have never been disappointed.
Good food, great service with great friends
It was perfect! The service was wonderful! Food was wonderful! We were early for our reservation and they were so accommodating. Will definitely eat there again!
The food was excellent and our server was terrific!
Great ambiance! Very good food. The meatballs are homemade and they melt in your mouth. Pasta and sauce is wonderful. Chicken Parm very tender. The Risotto was a little heavy.
