The atmosphere and food were incredible. But the service was lackluster. Constantly running out of drink and never checking on our table.

I've been to AFM several times and it's always an average 4 out of 5 star experience.
The food and service are always great but the place is in major need of some cleanup/renovations.
Ceiling looks old, booth seats are falling apart, carpet and floor always feels sticky or greasy.

That being said; the I had their Bread Pudding for dessert for the first time the other night and it was a huge portion and the best I've ever had. So....regardless of what the inside of the place looks like, I will keep coming back for the bread pudding again and again.

The air was blasting when we got there, but the staff was pleasantly responsive to warming it up a bit. The food was OUTSTANDING!! The service staff was slightly overwhelmed, but good.

All in all, we had a great time, but the seating needs to be redone. The springs are shot on the banquette seating, and the entire dining area is a bit dated.

Seven of us dined and all seven seafood dishes were excellent. Highly recommend the brown butter preparation for the fish ( did not catch the French name for it ). It is not on the menu so ask about it. Our server mentioned it to us. Sea Bass, Black Grouper, Sole, Cod, and Lobster were excellent. Oysters were also very good, but variety is limited.
Wait staff very attentive, but we end up with two at our table ( one was trainee, but also helped ).

This is one of the better restaurants in the group. Much cleaner, updated decor and a good bar program. The food was great as always. The drinks were great too. The bartender shows that she has been their a long time. We never received the silverware set up and it took about 10 minutes to get it after our food was their because she continued to talk to her regular customers. However, it was still a good dinner.

We've been to AFM dozens of times. We go for the fresh fish. Never disappointed in the fish. Great prices for their fish meals. Lately, the Oyster Rockefeller has been dry with mostly breadcrumb flavor - used to be really good. The Wedge salad bleu cheese dressing is really sweet tasting...like the base is made with Miracle Whip. I prefer more sour cream/mayonnaise base with strong bleu cheese flavor. After dinner drink - Keoke Coffee is spot on and a bargain at $7.50. The dining area could really use a make-over. Seats and booth's coverings are damaged from years of sweaty butts. Tables could use a refinishing. Carpet is old and dingy. Lower level wooden flooring is worn out in the pathways. Some reinvestment in the look of the place is really needed.

Enjoyed the meal. My blackened snapper was delicious and the portion was generous. I was a bit disappointed with the sautéed vegetable medley. A restaurant of this caliber shouldn’t rely on simple broccoli and cauliflower to fill up a plate. Enjoyed a great French wine and crab bisque, too.

Ask for a quiet table so you won’t have to listen to a rude person on a cell. Don’t ask for a frozen drink either.

Waiter, Jared, was professional, but service was slow. Indicates a process issue, not a reflection on the waiter. For example, at one time all the waitstaff seemed to be waiting at the kitchen for food to come out. Then later, it took 20 minutes to get a dessert coffee. Maybe the bar was backed up?

Restaurant should get rid of the small tables. There is not enough room for plates on them. There is also not enough width for adults especially when waitstaff are constantly passing by. My 6'6" date was not pleased sitting at a baby table.

Food was well prepared and delicious, but we will probably not return any time soon because it took over two hours to have dinner after being seated.

The best seafood restaurant in Atlanta. Good atmosphere, great service and a variety of great tasting entrees. I had the blackened scallops and they were awesome, my wife had the steamed lobster and it was a well sized portion.

Great food and great service has always been the Moto with Buckhead Life, and it continues to show today. The attention to detail is nearly unmatched by anyone who strives to reach this level of food and service. Great evening with family, unobtrusive service, and as always, a memorable experience! Thank you.

Atlanta Fish Market is overrated. It's expensive and the portions are small. Their surf and turf is ridiculously small, a fried lobster tail, small steak and fries for $56. Who serves fries with a $56 plate? There are a lot of other restaurants that serves the same quality food for half the price .

This was the fourth time my husband and I have dined at AFM. This is also the only time we have been disappointed. Our waiter was either terribly inexperienced or just doesn’t care enough about his job to do it well. Not only did he not bring the correct dishes ordered, but he had terrible table management skills. If it was because of inexperience, AFM needs to upgrade their standards for fine dining waitstaff. Likewise for their hiring process. Once the correct food, arrived, things went more smoothly. Until, I noticed our waiter continually touching the water pitcher to our glasses upon refilling. Major no no in the restaurant business. Red flag for cross contamination. It is likely we will not be returning, which saddens me because the food is honestly amazing.
