The new menu has so many choices, and all look great. I split the Green Goddess salad with my husband and our friends split the spinach salad. Beautiful presentation and delicious. We shared the rutabaga fries and they were very good too. I ate off of everyone's plate... I had the Roasted Veggies, and they made it with quinoa instead of farro so it was gluten free. I loved it and had plenty to take home. My friend and husband both had the gnocchi and I could have eaten an entire bowl of the mushrooms and tangy sauce. Our friend's husband had the scallops and grits and the scallop was beautifully cooked and delicious. Birch and Vine is on my top 3 list in Tampa Bay! Looking forward to going again to try more on the menu. Our waitress was lovely... very willing to accommodate our dietary needs and had knowledge of the new menu so she could confidently make recommendations and substitutions.

Trying to be trendy, but playing it safe. Felt corporate and antiseptic. Afraid to offend the Beach Dr. crowd with anything too controversial. Food ranged from inoffensive to good, but not inspired or unique. Drab decor. Slightly self-conscious, amateurish, millennial service. Enjoyed the pear & parsnip soup though. And I'm sure there are and will be more exciting menu items.

Went for brunch. Will never go for brunch again. Have been for dinner and that was good.
Green Goddess salad was tasteless
Pork Belly Poutine which was recommended by the waiter was made with tater tots and had almost no meat.
The only redeeming dish was the French Toast which we had for desert.
The manager did offer to comp some drinks for the poor quality of the pork dish.

We booked a table for 6 through Open Table for a Saturday evening at 7:15. We live on the other side of the Skyway bridge so it takes us about an hour to get to downtown St. Pete. We arrived around 7:00PM and told the hostess we would get a drink at the bar and wait for our friends. The other 4 people in our party arrived by 7:15. The hostess came to us and said that because of a large group in the dining room, they now only could either seat us in the bar, or it would be a few minutes until they could set up a table in the dining room. Well, a few minutes turned into 45-minutes and we did not sit down until 8:00PM...so much for making a reservation! The server was friendly and accommodating, the food was fine, but the room was so incredibly loud and noisy that we all felt like we were having to yell at one another across the table all evening. Not a great overall experience!

Waitress was awesome! Allie (I think) Ambiance was perfect and the canopy upstairs is perfect as the sun goes down. Portions were pretty good and flavor was awesome!

A wonderful experience and delicious meal! Was reluctant to go at first as I am Vegan, was assured that adjustments could and would gladly be made. The Cruciferous plate was awesome, no adjustments needed there! My husband really enjoyed his meal, the catch of the day, and he's super picky. Finally, our Server, Allie, was outstanding. We're already planning a return visit!

Took my daughter for her 21st birthday for some delicious hand crafted cocktails in the restaurant bar, then up to the rooftop for scenic views. Steven was great - friendly, accommodating and made the night special.

We were so pleased to have been given a private room for our party of 6. We are all dear friends who work hard to see each other so we loved the cozy small room to chat. Our server, Miko, also fabulous & very patient. We were able to take our time & not feel rushed. Thanks for the great evening.

We enjoyed a lovely luncheon at the Birch & Vine at the Birchwood. We or serve well by Danielle. And greeted warmly by Marlo the dining room manager. The food came out beautifully, was very flavorful and was served Timely. This is a great spot to go when you're really would like to have a good conversation along with the traffic meal.

We had high hopes based on some yelp reviews but alas the place did not live up to their pricing or reputation. Many of the items felt over prepped and under cooked- as if they were preparing for a wedding of 500

Ny strip was cold in center and seemed as if it had been prepped and seasoned hours later. The Bernadine sauce was overly salty

The scallops were decent but the carrots were almost not cooked at all.

The bananas foster seemed prepped hours before and the small cake was stiff and cold while the caramel and bananas were cold

Wait and host staff very nice enough but seemed relatively new.

Its was miserably hot in the restaurant and for a 130.00 experience... i did not enjoy my time there. I had to fan myself the entire time. I mentioned it to 3 different people and it was still not taken care of. I am not sure I wil ever return or recommend this restaurant. I was highly disappointed.

The food and service were mediocre. The atmosphere is great. Everything took a long time to come out even though there weren’t very many people there. I ordered an omelette for brunch and it was not an omelette, it was eggs cooked flat and not flipped with no sides. Probably won’t be rushing back.

We came in for brunch on Father’s Day. Our server was nice, but not very attentive and seemed to disappear at key times. It wasn’t very busy, so there didn’t appear to be a legitimate reason. The food was delicious, but the plates could use some garnish or something so they’re not so boring looking. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

Good service, good food, a little overpriced for the quality. Great rooftop bar with a friendly staff. We were catching up with friends from out of stated and they put us in a private dining room which was nice as sometimes we can get a little loud.

My wife found the Salmon lacking flavor. Although the staff was really nice I was insulted by the offer to remove the large fly, that found it's way into my wife's champagne glass rather than replace it which we asked. Obviously, they are more concerned with beverage costs over customer service. We were celebrating our 3rd anniversary and that kinda killed the mood. Very professional staff.

First time visit for my birthday. Got a booth as requested. Served complimentary champagne and dessert. Had the scallops and a green goddess salad with crab cakes for an appetizer. Everything was delicious! The service was very good. Very comfortable atmosphere. An enjoyable evening worthy of a return visit.

Continue to frequent this awesome spot when I have guests in town. Just a great example of superb dining and atmosphere in downtown St. Petersburg. Rickey and the wait staff were very attentive and we got to speak to Chef Neal who gave us the low down on Parsnip Mousse. Great experience!

Everything was quite good; however, the portion size of some brunch options was much smaller than others of similar cost. Would not recommend for an intimate meal as it’s very loud inside and difficult to conversation over the noise. Good service and attentive server.

We’ve been dining here since it opened and thought it was the best restaurant in St Pete. Not anymore. The chef must have changed. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good, it’s just that there are now other places that are better. It’s so loud in there that it’s difficult to talk to your guests during dinner.

We visited for mothers day brunch and the overall experience was fair/good. The server missed the mark with a lot of little things - we ordered coffee, there was no sugar or spoons. We ordered an appetizer and no side plates (or any plates whatsoever) were provided. We ordered wine and they forgot to deliver. They cleared some of the flatware (particularly knives) after our app, and then didn't replace before entrees came so we had to keep consistently asking for knives, plates, sugar, spoons. The server seemed caught up and busy, so overall the service just wasn't great. My aunt ordered the shrimp and grits for $14 and there were 6 small shrimp and a lot of grits. Just seemed overpriced for what you actually received. I would not recommend this to anyone, there are far better restaurants in the vicinity.
