   My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary. We live about an hour away but love to come to Bridges to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and every day dining. It was a perfect night to sit outside and enjoy the view. The food was delicious as always and our server was very attentive. We always enjoy coming to one of our favorite restaurants!

   Food was very good and tasty. Ambience was excellent. Loved the scenery from where we were sitting which was on the water. Only thing that marred it was our server. We had to ask for refills on drinks and water and he seemed to be in a “ grumpy” mood. Not friendly at all. Two of the people in my party are servers in Annapolis ( Boathouse and Caprese) and they noticed it as well.

   It was a lovely experience for Father’s Day. Our waitress was quite busy, but very accommodating. It was a lovely outdoor atmosphere by the water.

    Like we told our waitress this was the best meal we’ve had on the shore since moving in 2020. The ingredients were fresh in the watermelon salad and the sweet corn hash. The Cajun Rockfish was seasoned perfectly and the scallops were done to perfection. Service was impeccable and it was an overall wonderful meal. We’ve eaten here before and it is consistently good, but tonight exceeded that.

    We had six adult family members meet for lunch on a Thursday. We sat on the deck not far from the water. It was quite windy, but the view was lovely. Service was fabulous!! We had mussels as an appetizer that was pretty good, and crab dip that was excellent. I had the Thai bowl that was very tasty, especially with the addition of tuna sashimi. Did I mention bottles of wine were HALF PRICE? (Wednesdays and Thursdays) We took advantage! We would come back, especially on a Wednesday or Thursday!

    In addition to a variety of seafood, which you would expect in a place on Kent Narrows, there are several salads and a vegetarian main course on the menu. That makes it a great place for our diverse family. The food is reliably good, and the service has been great each time I have been at this restaurant. Sandi is a wonderful waitress; careful, respectful, friendly and relaxed - just what I want. And of course sitting by the water just cannot be beat!

    Just love this place! Fabulous water views, with good food, and a bit more of an upscale menu and vibe than most places in the area. They've won awards from Food & Wine Magazine, and I see why! I was a little concerned at the loud music/noise from the nearby Jetty Restaurant/Bar, but once inside and even out on the pier section of the restaurant it was lovely and QUIET!!! We stopped on Friday (going) and Sunday (returning) just because the whole experience was so great. Highly recommended!

    Parking at this restaurant is difficult despite having a good size lot. Soups were under temperature . . . Vegetable crab soup was warm, but not hot. Cream of crab soup was room temperature. My wife didn’t even eat most of it. Entrees were under temperature as well . . . Thai stir fry w/ shrimp was luke warm at best. My wife’s crab cake was an adequate temperature, but vegetables were cold. This was not a pleasant dining experience. We keep our boat in Kent Island and dine in this area all summer long. Not likely to return to Bridges again. Disappointing.

    One of our favorite spots that we don’t visit enough. Every time we come here we always say, why don’t we come here more often. Our waiter was great (can’t remember his name). Very attentive, funny, and just had an over all great personality. The food like always was spot on. The firecracker shrimp are a must get every time we come. I got the captains cut filet and it was very tender, cooked exactly how I wanted and expected for medium rare. My wife got the steak frites w/ Parmesan truffle fries. The steak was seasoned wonderfully and the fries were out of this world good. If I had to complain about something it’s trying to access the parking lot when the jetty is busy.

    Cream of Crab soup was delicious if you like soup thick and on the salty side. More shell in the soup than I expected. Entrees came out to early since we weren't done with our soup - which one do we let get cold? Scallops were delicious and perfectly seared; the Risotto on which they sat was so-so. Good service.

    Bridges does not disappoint. The location is great. The food and service are the best. We have been coming to Bridges ever since they opened and have not found a restaurant that we like better. Sunsets are the best and the fireplace in the winter makes the outside cold melt away.

    We are local. I had just eaten there 2 nights prior and everything was good. Not so much on Sunday and we had out of town visitors. I am not usually one to complain but we will be taking a break from Bridges for awhile.

    We occasionally head to Kent Island from DC to enjoy great seafood near the water. This was our first visit to Bridges but not the last. Every food item was delicious and presented well. We started with the coconut shrimp and crab dip and tried the mahi tacos. Great choices. The setting was beautiful and calming with plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the channel. Parking was plentiful.

    As always, the food was excellent- inventive very fresh salads, Cajun rock fish, superb stuffed shrimp, strawberry shortcake, amazing and intricate Smith Island cake, and so on- but tonight surpassed all the many others for service. On past occasions we enjoyed the attentive and lovely service proffered by Carolyn and especially Katie, but Justin is the best by far. He has a wonderful amiable personality, always checking on the quality of each course,patient and fascinating to speak with in general. His knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay and fishing and navigation is most impressive. He is also tall, handsome and a real gem. Do not miss this beautiful restaurant, its culinary delights and memorable service. They never fail !
