Delicious vegetarian fare at a meat-focused brunch place. I'd go back anytime. My only complaint was they forgot my potatoes and I didn't realize until too late - my party had to move on to church.
We love to come to our neighborhood restaurant for delicious comfort food with a friendly vibe.
Great food and drinks!
Hamburger is delicious!
Also really good for breakfast during the weekend!
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Very attractive interior. The bar is beautiful. The starters and cocktails were really tasty. We will definitely go back!
Impressive farm to neighborhood food, in a charming space with old world touches, and very good service. One member of our party of three was eating vegan. The restaurant staff worked with him to find vegetable dishes that could be served with sauces on the side. Not a hint of bother. Dishes we especially loved: butter lettuce salad with a dijon dressing, pomme frites with dipping sauces, parsnip soup, and the flank steak. These dishes and the others we had were all winners. Highly recommended.
Food seemed impressive to look at but taste was mediocre. Almost like trying too hard with that yet not so much on taste! Flavor wasn’t great combo on my gnocchi and friend’s flank steak was chewy though presentation made your mouth water.
Great neighborhood place with good food and top notch service.
Love this place. Breakfast, brunch, dinner, doesn’t matter just go.
I highly recommend the biscuit and gravy. The gravy was savory and filling. With the added richness of two over easy eggs, the meal was a 10.
Although limited variety, Great flavors!
Their benedict I had June was amazing. This time was average. Different cooks. Meat was more dry and salad was missing the light dressing. After mentioning the lack to staff, she told cooks which I appreciate. There was no effort to rectify the present day dining experience. The dutch boy was very good.
It’s inconceivable that a restaurant in Seattle serving Brunch doesn’t have an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccino!
This was my third time there, and quite possibly an off visit for them. Server didn't ask any anticipation questions (brought coffee, no spoons or cream). The food has always been phenomenal in the past but this time it seemed pretty uneventful. Everything was just okay.
Would not recommend. The food was pretty gross overall, and in spite of the restaurant being fairly empty and there being plenty of choices in seating, we were put next to a roll-up window that had a huge gap to the outside, and thus was uncomfortably cold unless we had coats on. The service was nice enough, even though the hostess has a little attitude and was not keen on seating us somewhere warmer when we asked if it was an option.
I love the bar and the craft cocktails. However, I would not recommend for a romantic or quiet dinner. Foot print is small and we were seated right by the bar so louder than I would have liked for Valentine's Day.
This was a great Valentine’s Day dinner place. We shared a huge rib eye for two, which was artfully displayed and delicious.
Always amazing! Great breakfast scrambles and the ham biscuit is outstanding.
Very good brunch, a little expensive, but that’s Seattle brunch for ya. Bartender was great service wise. Fun atmosphere and vibe and food is always excellent.
Fantastic choice for our Sunday brunch. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was fun. We will definitely return for brunch and for dinner.
Food was decent
Love this small place. Friendly, fun, great food. What's not to like.
We took a total foodie with us to experience what we remembered as excellent food. I have to say that we were quite disappointed.
When we visited B&H last summer for dinner, the food was perfectly prepared and the plating was beautiful. This time - not true.
The chicken which we recalled was roasted not fried (and yes, we saw that on the menu) was dry. The squab was too little meat for the amount of work. The side dish of carrots was unbelievably unattractive and undercooked. (There’s al debts and then there’s impossible to cut.)
Great little neighborhood gem. Been there many times, and will be back many more.
I'm so happy this great restaurant is within walking distance of my house. The food is always delicious, the service is great, and everyone we've encountered there is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!
Beautiful Antique bar, stashed away just off the main road, you’d never know it was there. A hidden gem.
Our first visit. Wonderful experience. Good food. Friendly staff!
Wonderful meal and service.
The staff is great from beginning to end of the service. The menu is just the right length and breadth. The wine list has great value and the ambiance is spot on. I liked the experience so much I made an immediate booking to return with more friends. It's hard to stand out in a market filled with quality but Brunswick & Hunt manages brilliantly.
Great atmosphere, excellent service, and amazing food. We've been there a couple of times, and both were equally stellar experiences.
The bar is beautiful and the restaurant had a good feel to it. It was quiet enough that we could hear each other talking, even though the restaurant was full. Most of us really enjoyed our food. The house specialty fried chicken was a little underwhelming with the horseradish sauce all over it. Prices were a bit high for the portions, but overall we had a nice time.
Great food and service!
Went for brunch on Sunday. The food was not very hot, the bacon braised pork benedict was quite salty and the salad had little flavor. After the meal, our entire party did not feel too well either - not sick or anything, just that not so good feeling after a not so good meal. We've had dinner there before and it was ok. I think if I did recommend this place, I would say for drinks only. Bartenders and staff are great, drinks are amazing and atmosphere is cool.
Everything was good except for the wait time for our food. But, our server was nice and took care of a couple drinks to thank us for being patient.
We have been to Brunswick & Hunt 4 times now and have had great experiences every time! The brunch is fantastic- I feel like the menu would be appealing to anyone. I brought my parents here last time and they loved it too.
They are generous with their portions and beignets were really good!
Thanks blah blah blah
Had a reservation and noted it was our anniversary and we were seated at a table immediately adjacent to the kitchen with staff bustling past for entire meal. Ordered the vegetable hash. Menu stated vegetables were carrots, corn, tomatoes, okra. Served carrots, green beans, onions, potatoes. Probably won't return.
I ordered the chorizo scramble and it was delicious. Biscuits are placed in plain view and I also couldn't resist adding one to my breakfast. The meal was filling and extremely tasty and the service was prompt. I ordered a coffee and was pleasantly surprised that a french press was brought to my table. I really enjoyed Sunday brunch here and would recommend this place to friends. Great food, service, and atmosphere.
Had brunch on Sunday with family. Mimoso (fresh squeezed OJ), coffee (french press) and tea (loose leaf) were all thoughtfully prepared and good. Everything we ordered to eat was spot on. Homemade biscuits, yummy pork, decedent hollandaise sauce, fresh salad and the most interesting pear palette cleanser.
Although not the restaurant's fault, parking was a nightmare at 9am! Give yourself time to park or get a ride.
