Buckhead Diner - PRIORITY SEATING
Brunch: Sunday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Celebrated my parents 55th anniversary. The diner staff was warm and friendly. They made sure my parents felt special. Food was excellent! The scallops were fantastic! I highly recommend dining here.
This restaurant never is never a disappointment. We were in Atlanta for the Gift Market and can always count on a great meal at Buckhead Diner.
Waited 35-40 mins past our reservation time Love the restaurant but will let others know too long of a wait with a res.
Our first time there and it was amazing! I can't give enough stars for the service. The staff was all over it. The main dishes are very fresh tasting and just a joy to eat with deserts are incredibly made. It's an Atlanta staple and now I know why.
Slow service. Had to send milkshake back bc it was watery. Special fish sandwich was undercooked. Too expensive for lower quality food.
Always the BEST dining experience in Atlanta. It’s our go to place when we’re here. Friendliest wait staff and great food!
As Always Buckhead Diner is a tribute to excellent quality and superior service. And the famous bleu cheese chips cannot be missed.
Our waiter was amazing. We ate early with our twins and the waiter was so accommodating and the food and drinks were delicious. I used to eat here all the time when I lived in Atlanta and 20 years later it was still as good as ever
Simply put it was OK. This was my 3rd visit and each before was very good. When we entered the restaurant there was an awkward smell - it was an odor of soured dishwater. Whatever is was, they used to
it to clean the entire place. The food was good but not above average. We began with Blue Cheese Chips (probably the highlight), the entrees were the meatloaf, steak ramen, Springer Mtn. half chicken (special), and "Pork Chop Ribeye". To sum it up....when places exceed your expectations you are impressed and on the flip side when a place comes up short it is disappointing.
Never had a bad meal at Buckhead Diner, but be prepared to wait. As it clearly states, "This is not a reservation" Take 'em at their word!
Great food and service. Great place for a New Year’s Eve dinner
Another great dinner! Excellent food and service at one of our favorite spots.
New Years Eve dinner for the 3rd year in a row was excellent as usual. Staff was very attentive especially with 4 young kids included. Food was excellent as it always is.
Great food in a place that feels nice enough for an occasion but not stuffy or fussy in any way.
Birthday dinner with friends. Ordered drinks and dinner. The blue plate special: fried chicken. Sadly it was fried too long, disappointing x 2 since friend ordered the same. Everything else was great. Forgot the valet charges $5 to park my car 10 feet away. Voluntary tip would be better.
Ok food. Bad service.
Love this place. It’s my go-to of all the Buckhead Life Restaurants!
Nice place to eat and drink when casual
very good food and service...sometimes it is noisy but that night was very quiet
Excellent service from Matthew
Crab cakes were seasoned well and moist
Romaine lettuce on Caesar salad was fresh
Key lime pie was just tart enough
Decaffeinated coffee was freshly brewed
Great food, wonderful attentive server. Outstanding service. Great ambience
Great place to dine. Food is always prepared perfect. Have eaten at the Diner several times when visiting Atlanta always a fun place to eat. The service is always upscale with attention in making your visit enjoyable
We have been there the last 4 Christmas Eves at the same time 9 o’clock. We won’t do it again. The service was good but not really attentive, the bathroom had not been attended in a long while, if ever, that day. The rugs were noticeably dirty. We felt like we were in any old diner. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about.
We didn’t linger but it was still obvious that everyone was ready to get out of there. I realize that it was Christmas Eve but that hasn’t been the way that the Buckhead Life restaurants have been run in the past.
ANOTHER... fantastic evening at The Diner!! This time on Christmas Eve.
The food was perfect, again, as we knew it would be! I did try the Kale salad this time, and so glad I did, what a home run for me, with rare grilled Salmon. Fabulous!! My husband always gets the outstanding Chilean Sea Bass, and is consistently perfect, as I've said before, like Velvet. The crab cake and Calamari, done to perfection as well. A wonderful Christmas Eve at the Diner. Our server, once again, a very cool gentleman who as been there for some 25 years!! Awesome!!
Used to love going to Buckhead Diner. Christmas Eve was a zoo as expected, but there should have been more servers with help from others. Not Buckhead Diner's first rodeo with Christmas Eve dinner.
We generally enjoy eating at Buckhead Diner, but our server barely gave us any attention!! This was a birthday celebration for my daughter, but no acknowledgement, even though I indicated that on my Open Table reservation. Our server did not call me by name as most previous servers have done - even my adult children noticed that. We "conversed" with our server twice (no pleasantries, just business) before we ordered and once later to ask if we wanted dessert. She did appear at our table to remove my son's plate, later my daughter's plate, and then did ask if we wanted dessert while I was still eating. My daughter said we hadn't looked at the menu yet since I was still eating. She returned later and asked again about dessert, but when we said "no," she slapped down the bill which was probably a good thing since she would have had to redo the bill. We would have ordered dessert, but decided to go elsewhere because of the poor service. Additionally, we had to ask to have our water glasses and an iced tea refilled. A disappointing experience at Buckhead Diner, and probably our last.
Seating was immediate. Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We ordered the homemade chips with Maytag blue cheese; pastrami sandwich (huge); scallops on risotto; salmon on quinoa; gumbo/salad; and crab cake with asparagus and mashed potatoes; Everyone ate all of their meal!
Very cool place. Looks like casual diner on the outside, but far more upscale in food and service on the inside. Only negative was that you have to pay for valet parking.
Great, as usual! We go here every Christmas season and they never disappoint! Loved the meatloaf and the fried chicken. And, of course, the crab cakes!
Our server Michael was exceptional. Every suggestion he made was spot on and truly delicious! We enjoyed our dinner after having a drink at the bar. We plan to dine here each time we visit Atlanta.
Our server Robert was amazing. My Moscow mule was perfect and the food was hot until the last bite. Love this place.
Great service! Loved our waiter! Crab cakes delicious! Meat loaf great! Pork chop on the spicey side for those that don’t do spice (I cannot), but it was good. Loved it all!
It was great! As usual.
Buckhead Diner never disappoints
Great dinner. Delicious food. The waiter was exceptional.
The waiters service was great, top notch. However, upon entering we were greeted by the hostess who
was very pleasant. However, a young bearded hispanic fellow pushed his way in front of her and without a greeting never looked up and proceeded to check out seating for us. Later I said to the hostess that the
man was rude both to me and my companion and to her. She said she had only been working for 20 min
(it was her first day on the job) . Nonetheless it was a negative cloud on an otherwise great place.
Perfect place to celebrate my son' s birthday with three teenage grandchildren. Something for everyone and all was delicious. Service was outstanding.
College graduation celebration
Food was exceptional and service outstanding. Buckhead Dinner is always a good bet for a great evening out...
