Cafe Deluxe - Tysons Corner
Haven't been in a long time & the same good service was given.
The waitress was very nice & cordial.
The biscuit was dry. We enjoyed the food overall.
Even with it being St. Patricks Day we were there early enough that it wasn't crowded.
Wish it was warmer to sit outside.
Disappointed. Has been better. My salmon was overcooked and presentation was lacking. Chicken pot pie usually an eye opener with top hot and puffy. Both meals looked like they had sat under a hot lamp. Had to ask for bread. Wine was good as was the dessert.
Everything still good here. Our seafood entrees were well prepared, wine list well chosen and the staff was efficient and friendly. What more can you ask from a reasonably priced diner.
I have never been disappointed eating at cafe deluxe. The menu has great choices, and the food is always cooked so well. Delicious wonderful food as usual and nice ambiance!
Cafe Deluxe used to be a lot better! I just moved back to Washington, D.C. two weeks ago and used to always love Cafe Deluxe. I went in earlier this week and was really looking forward to their ravioli and was candidly very disappointed.
My dining partner found a hair in his Eggs Benedict at Sunday brunch. That pretty much ruined things. When pointed out to a restaurant employee, she promised she would take off the cost of that dish, but she did not. By then we were just ready to get out of there so we let it go. The place is so loud it is impossible to have a conversation.
Cafe Deluxe is a convenient location in Tysons Corner. The reservation worked well. Service was a little above average.
Arrived early and waited past our reservation time. Seemed a little disorganized up front. Two of our five orders came out missing something. Server blamed kitchen.
Excellent waiter, however, it seems they have a different chef. The steak frites was dry, not served in the traditional way and it was so cold the butter did not melt. The flatbread was missing the shaved parmesan. All in all, so disappointed in one of our favorite places.
Have not been to Cafe Deluxe in awhile. The service is still beyond impeccable. The space is a wee bit tight and the noise level was up for brunch. Loved not feeling rushed to eat up and get out. Happy to have time to read menu and ask questions. The brunch selections are normal for the area - the beneigts are wonderful as is the cappuccino. portions are filling without being huge.
We had a fine time, as usual. Not crowded at all (it was President's day, around dinner time, so many folks weren't at work). The food was very good.
We have a daughter in a wheel chair ,the restaurant was very friendly and accommodating . The food was delicious and the server, Jim, was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
Love this place! And now even better since they partnered with Chef Geoffs. Their menu has some amazing new dishes. Ive always loved their tina tacos but the salmon with goat cheese risotto is fantastic! And our server was very helpful and personal. This is our go-to local favorite place!
We were a rambunctious group and Thomas tolerated ya terrificly!
We’ll be back. Lucky him!
The service was great and the food for lunch was just as expected.
Food was just OK and they have a horrible wine selection
Enjoyed a Saturday Brunch prior to a nearby afternoon movie. Interesting menu, good food, attentive service. Being in the middle of an extreme cold spell, we really appreciated the covered parking.
The entrees were good altho I got a salad and they forgot half the ingredients, but they brought them quickly after I told them. The desserts were just ok, nothing special. Service struggled big time the night we went. It was nearly an hour after we arrived before we saw food. They kept bringing things to the wrong tables around us. I'm not sure if this is normal as it was our first experience here. Hopefully just a bad night and not normal.
Our server Chelsea was first rate. We appreciated being permitted to sit as long as we wanted. We liked this restaurant
Over the years, Cafe Deluxe has pared their menu, to the point where lunch options are fairly limited, and some of the servers need a lot more training. We will look for another lunch p;ace for when we are in the Tyson's area.
I would like to complement our server Chelsea. Very efficient and friendly and really good place n follow through.
Cafe Deluxe has my favorite version of eggs benedict - served on sourdough toast with a sun-dried tomato hollandaise, which is a very nice twist. Tried the beneigts this visit, but won't order again - after you've been to the Café du Monde in NOLA, other beneigts just don't hit the spot
Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, ample parking (vehicle under 7') underground parking lots, superb service, super cocktails! Great food., Gluten free menu too
This is one of our favorites for weekday dinners. The food and service are dependably very good. We particular like the grilled ahi appetizer, the mac & cheese appetizer, and the grilled salmon. The fish tacos are also very good. The only disappointment- the whipped butter they serve with the bread. It is tasteless.
Visited with my mother-in-law for lunch. We both ordered burgers with sweet potato fries and everything was really tasty. Would recommend outside seating, too!
We were celebrating my husband's birthday and enjoyed the ease of parking, the wonderful menu, the excellent service and the quality of the food. However, it was way too noisy for the five of us so we will not be returning. Friends has told us how good the food is and they were right. But we seek quiet environments to celebrate with friends.
We came here for lunch. The place wasn't very full. The manager was our server. Not once did someone cone check up on us. I remember service used to be a lot better.
It was just OK this time.. service was attentive at the beginning then trailed off.. food was fine although not as generous in the portions as in the past. I could skip it for something better next time for brunch.
Our waiter was very attentive and super friendly. The food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable.
Food took a while to come once ordered. Steak over cooked and pork chop tasteless. Poor presentation of food.
Could use more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, currently very limited. Overall the service and food were wonderful and I will be back.
Loved our fabulous waiter Tom! A real asset. And the Cobb salad remains great, and the gluten-free options were just right. Always a go-to choice.
Made reservation and got there ahead of time, and they said they were running 40 min behind! And that we had to wait. There err plenty of empty seats but they wouldn’t sit us down. Asked to see the manager and she was very rude and said they cannot service people at that time and that we had to wait 40 minutes even though we had a reservation.
We used to go there all the time for years but will never go back, very rude staff specially the manager.
Had a reservation, but they were not ready for us. Told us it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait.
I eat at the Tyson's Cafe Deluxe regularly & normally have only great things to say. Unfortunately, however, today's experience was TERRIBLE! I ordered a SALMON burger. Burgers are served OPEN-faced here. My server brought out the first burger and it was noticeably burnt; it was so charred it looked inedible. I took 1 bite and discovered it was inedible. I sent it back. The manager came out, said she saw it & it did look burnt, apologized, & offered me an extra side. I accepted & told her no worries, as I had never before needed to send back a SALMON burger. She brought out a second burger; I took two bites and this time it was raw! A different manager stopped by and I explained to her that this "SALMON" burger was raw & also inedible. She closely examined the burger but said nothing other than sorry & they'd bring me a 3rd burger & it would be right. Well, when the 3rd burger came out it was right... and NOTICEABLY different than the 1st two burgers I was brought. The 1st manager (who brought me the 3rd burger), said that they discovered the issue... the first TWO (yes, not 1 but 2) burgers they brought me were TURKEY burgers! I have not eaten meat since I was 13 (a long time ago), so this was a HUGE error to make!! I ordered a SALMON burger and the 1st server did not catch the open-faced, clearly visible burger she was bringing me was a turkey burger. When I said to the 1st manager that I've never had to send back a salmon burger, the next burger to come out was AGAIN a turkey burger! And when I told the 2nd manager that the second burger was raw, to her credit she obviously caught that it was a turkey (not salmon) burger, but she did not tell me so. The 1st manager told me when she brought out my 3rd burger (& 1st salmon burger) of the day. They handled their mistakes as nicely as possible... apologized, comped me, etc., which I appreciated! BUT it is a mistake that can't be fixed! I unwittingly ate meat today for the first time in decades! Very upsetting exp!
Our party of 9 was seated in a nice spot near the patio. We enjoyed cocktails before dinner (the Tommy Collins was a favorite) and dinner was great. Across the board, the folks all agreed that their meals were wonderful. My wife and I come here often and love the ambiance and the consistent quality of the food and service.
Very disappointing evening after making a res to celebrate milestone anniversary for parents- poor service and no special attention even though it was relatively empty
Our server Keith was great. The restaurant went above and beyond serving our kids an item that isn’t always on the menu.
Roasted chicken is outstanding!
Mediocre food. Nice staff. Fairly cute place.
