Best Yakiniku Restaurants in Shinjuku
Exceptionally good meal on New Years Eve. We chose the fixed price full course dinner and we were glad we did. The selections were excellent. The foie gras appetizer was divine. The restaurant is pricey but not terribly so. Service was good but ever so slightly uneven (ie 2 waiters asked us for our drink order) but nothing anyone could complain about. Our meal and celebration in the bar was a highlight of our Japan trip. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nicer meal/special occasion. MoreOpenTable Diner -
TPHNYG never disappoints. From the personal reception walking off the elevator to being greeted by name by the general manager at the table. All staff are always attentive, aware, and on point. The food is always fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. This was probably my third visit and every experience has been exceptional. Weekday semi-lunch buffet is the absolute best value in Tokyo. Every time I visit Tokyo, I make it a priority to visit. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Robot Restaurant is the new sightseeing spot in Shinjuku, Tokyo!! Last year in 2018, we had over 210,000 customers visit us. Celebrities from all around the world are paying attention as well.
The reason why the Robot Restaurant also known as the “Robot Show”, has been drawing so much attention is because it allows you to view a high-quality entertainment performance collaborating with dancers and big robots. With the story development being composed of 4 parts, big screen images, and everything being up close.
Come see the one and only Robot Restaurant that has an entertainment that collaborates the fine Japanese culture with a little twist of its own!!!
We the staff and the robots look forward to seeing you at the show!! More
This is located at the base of the Godzilla Hotel (Gracery Shinjuku) so really easy if you're a guest there. We actually had an issue with our booking as I received a booking confirmation but when we arrived, we were told that there was an issue with the online and that they couldn't contact me (I was abroad so only had email). We returned after 40 mins (luckily we were statying in the hotel.) Food was good quality Yakiniku with a lot of different options but a little more expensive than some other places of equal or better quality but you pay that premium here because of the location. Also, there is a 10% service/cover charge added (it is written on their website) so beware of this as most places in Japan don't add service/tips. Service was good (English speaking) with an English menu available and credit cards are accepted. MoreOpenTable Diner -
As spring nears, we enter the sea bream spawning season, which is when the bream swim in to shallow waters from their deep-sea dwellings, marking the best time for fishing. In the bay, you can find the most outstanding bream with just the right amount of fat to enhance their flavor. At Kichiriki, we offer bream caught in Akashi and serve it in a variety of ways, including shabu shabu, which allows you to enjoy the tender texture of the fish, or grilled over open charcoal flames to seal in the natural flavors of the fish. In addition to bream, we also serve abalone, which comes into season in time for the early summer months, and first-of-the-season wild vegetables that boast amazing aromas. Every day, our Master Chef personally visits the Tsukiji Fish Markets to source the freshest and best quality produce of the season. Despite being located right near the busy bustling Shinjuku Station, our restaurant boasts a relaxed atmosphere with mainly counter seating.More
Enjoyed a fantastic meal with friends over a couple of hours in this quiet backstreet restaurant. Cozy, casual and comfortable would best describe the decor and seating. Amazing is the best way to describe the food. We shared some appetizers - hummus; the delightfully spicy salad meshoui; brik (tuna, potato, egg) “spring roll” and swava careshe (lamb, haloumi cheese) samosa. All were fabulous, and had us feeling full before we got to the main course! For mains, our group tried the jaret d’ajneau (lamb shanks) and the tajin aruche (sheep meatballs, dried plums). All of the food was aromatic, perfectly spiced and well presented. The owner served us personally and was very helpful and charming. Overall a fantastic evening - highly recommended. As a tapas bar, it's fine. The volume of food is pretty light, and the service seemed a little slow, but the size and makeup of our group clearly overwhelmed them. We definitely came out ahead of what we paid. What bothered me was when I called they had no record of our Open Table reservation. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us, but I shudder to think what would have happened if I hadn't called. So yes, you can use them, but you'll need a Japanese speaking person to call because the Open Table reservation doesn't do anything. I asked, and they explained that Open Table reservations go to their main office, who doesn't forward them to the actual restaurant. That's a big problem, not with the restaurant, but with the restaurant's integration with Open Table. MoreOpenTable Diner -
