Everything was great and the food was amazing
I just dined in Chima tonight around 830-930pm and my guest and I both got the $49 discounted full Rodizio option with dessert and we were not offered the $20 credit for future dinner promotion for restaurant week listed on their social media today. Food and service were good though. Just we weren’t given the promotion credit for our next visit and it’s disappointing because we had plans to go to ocean prime instead, but chose Chima for the promotion, but instead didn’t even hear anything about it.
I've been to Chima before several times and only for the Restaurant Week deal, so I knew what to expect in terms of the food, which was very good. My only feedback is that service (for our table of 4) was very slow, and I think I know why. My friends and I went with the regular $35 RW deal as opposed to Chima's other ~$50 deal, which included more meat options and dessert. Anyway, I think that most of the gauchos walking around had specific meats on hand that were not included in our $35 deal. Also we just happened to be seated next to a party of 10, so I noticed the gauchos would attend to that table before coming to us every time. Now I used to work as a server in a restaurant, so I get it, but still service should have been readily available regardless if it were a 10-top or table of 4.
Also, I personally prefer my meat well-done or close to well-done, but many of the gauchos carrying steak didn't have that on-hand and would have to go back and get it for me. I understand most folks prefer medium rare or closer to rare meat, but again, all options should still be readily available.
But over all, the food was good, and my three friends, who had never been to Chima before, enjoyed it.
This was my second outing at Chima’s and I must say it was fabulous both times! The salad bar was fantastic with a wide variety of sides, soups, and finger foods. I absolutely loved the cuts of beef, pork, and lamb. The bacon wrapped chicken and those sausages were to die for! I absolutely enjoyed dining at China! Congratulations
Best value is to dine here during Center City restaurant week. Many varieties of meat. Service was very good, although did detect attitude when noting was added to the standard 18% gratuity for large parties.
Went during restaurant week and although I understand that we're getting a discount, we were definitely treated like second-hand customers. The food was coming fast then not at all. It seemed almost like they wanted us to gouge ourselves and then leave quickly so they can seat the next table.
We went for restaurant week. It was very busy and it took a long time for the different meats to make it to the table. I’ve been here when they come around so much it’s overwhelming but we ended up waiting a while between choices.
My first experience at Chima was wonderful from the scenery, the the food and the service.
Food is delicious. I recommend everyone to try this restaurant. Good service and good time.

Steak selection was exceptional. I've been to multiple Brazilian steakhouses before, and this one by far takes the lead on overall impression. We went during restaurant week (full rodizio), so we got a great deal on an endless stream of food. They'll try to trick you into eating less steak by giving you more sides(which are extremely good) don't give in and save room for the meat!
Cocktails were also good, but pricey at 10$ to 15$. Dessert options were also good, but limited. Overall very satisfied and definitely coming again.

This is our favorite brazilian steakhouse, but unfortunately, they were just a bit off today. We had to keep requesting different cuts of meat as we kept being brought the same two cuts despite not wanting them. This was restaurant week and two people in our party paid for the full price, not restaurant week price in order to get the full amount of options for cuts and half way through the meal we had to request that they be offered some as they were not receiving any of those options. The meats were just not their typical quality as they normally are. I generally love this restaurant, but it was a bit disappointing tonight. Tough night to bring two friends who hadn't been before.
Have better choice of well done meats. Speedier clean up
It is a good place to spend time with your partner, family, etc.

My family and I really enjoyed the food and service. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However I did not under why the gentleman who was serving the salmon did not go around to all of the tables. i thought it was odd i had to ask for him to serve our table salmon. all of the other meats were available and came to our table more than once.

We’ve dined here before and decided to come again for restaurant week... won’t do that again. We had a reservation for 9:45pm and we were not sat until 10:20pm and it was in a small corner, next to a window with a terrible breeze coming in on an already very cold night.
The salad bar always has many options, definitely something for everyone but nothing special. We chose to upgrade our meat selection to make sure we got the pineapple which is AMAZING but no one goes to a steakhouse for fruit and this was the best thing I tasted! The guy only walked by us once and the second time we had to summon our server to have him come. Not only that, we kept being offered chicken and pork loin most of the night not beef options ie. Filet, Prime Rib etc. I can eat chicken at home so this really annoyed us and we PAID EXTRA. The sides that were included mash potatoes, dried banana, bread and something else was all okay but lacked any flavor along with most of the meat we had.
There was a huge birthday of about 25 people who sat about 30 feet or so from us and I could not believe how loud and rambunctious they were. They were so loud we had a very hard time hearing our server. Many people come here for a nice dinner and atmosphere and this was by far what we got. After spending $200 for mediocre food and tipping our servers appropriately because none of this was their fault we would have had a much better experience somewhere else and spent half of the money.
The best thing was the service ! The servers were very friendly, attentive and well knowledge. We had three servers who assisted us all night and they was nice.
The food, as usual, is excellent at Chima. Between the salad bar and rodizio selection there is something for everyone. The only thing my party of 7 did not enjoy was having to ask their servers multiple times for a refill on foods. We asked 3 servers for the same thing and it was only given on the third try. Service was okay, everything else excellent. Would recommend.
We made a reservation and we were moved around several times. The hostess was new as she said and she had no clue of what was going on. Bad experience for the first time during restaurant week.
I rate the service great and ambience lively! The servers were very attentive, helpful and pleasant. We decided to come to Chima during restaurant week. To our surprise, the $35.00 price did not include all the restaurant offers so we were very limited. Of the few items we DID get the chicken was very dry and the other two meats were just ok. The salad bar was really good with lots of choices.
I probably would not come during restaurant week again as the selection of meats is slim and it took too long between one of the meat choices (gauchos) to the next.

So delicious everything! Quick seating service, quick with water and sides. One complaint was that the good stuff wasn’t coming around to us like filet mignon or salmon. Had to ask the waiter to have them bring it around. Overall, highly recommend anyone to eat here!
I LOVE this restaurant. The customer service and food are EXCELLENT! I come here often because it's more than worth it. Anthony who works at the bar is AMAZING. He's super friendly and can make any drink of your choice. Henry is AMAZING as well. He has been our server on many occasions and never disappointed. e remembers my family and treats us well. Bottom line if you can make to Chima's please do!
Dining at Chima was great! The service was wonderful & so was the food. My boyfriend & I had a great time. We’re definitely coming back.

Not our best experience. The meat seemed a little dry. Parmesan Pork was inedible to me. Didn't really see much of our server. It was Restaurant Week so that could explain it. Salad bar was great as always.

It seems as though when they brought around the better cuts of steak the portions got so much smaller ....and the rounds less frequent .....that was obvious and disappointing
I have been to Chima a few times the food is good . I have noticed that this was the second time we were put in the back of the room only because we were two people and that’s where the tables are for two. But the men coming around with the meats etc. seem to stay in the middle of the room or they run out and have to go in the back for more and really don’t get to the back . Servers kept asking if they can send someone over . Everyone is very friendly and professional.
