About this restaurant

Located at 64 South Bridge and close to Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre, Ciao Roma is a family run restaurant serving up an authentic taste of Italy. Found within a 10 minute walk of Edinburgh Waverley train, Ciao Roma delivers fine Italian food and wine sourced from their own vineyards in Southern Italy. The interior is tastefully decorated and cosy. Ciao Roma’s homemade pasta has its own fan following among regular customers of the restaurant. Also on offer are the fish specialties, gluten free lasagne, cannelloni and pizza. Martone ice cream, another specialty produced on the premises itself, is an award winning dessert item. The chefs carefully experiment with the ingredients and flavours to add a refreshing touch to its ice cream and sorbet menu on a regular basis. Children can enjoy ordering from a menu customised for them.
