Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Aylesford

First time I have eaten here and afternoon tea was delightful and plentiful. Gave us a box to bring home the cakes we couldn’t eat. Service was outstanding and didn’t stop asking if we would like refill of our drinks. Nothing too much trouble and very attentive. Will deffo being coming back again.

What a fabulous afternoon at this little gem of a restaurant. A beautiful place to eat in a wonderful setting, quiet from the hustle and bustle of the sea front and crowds. With the Victorian/Georgian villas surrounding this amazing 1925 bowling club pavilion, La Petite Petanque really is a lovely place to eat, catch up, and let the day pass by. Quiet from the road as overlooks the old bowling green, the only sound outside you would hear is the wildlife, and the church bells if ringing, and easy parking too. The Sunday roast was just the best, all three meals were amazing, great flavours particularly in the gravy, and the meats were cooked perfectly with the best crispy roast spuds. Service was outstanding, engaging, and the staff genuinely polite. Don't get here enough really, need to address that! Always lovely, looking forward to the next visit very soon.

All I can say is perfection, the food the ambience and most of all the service by the young lady that served us on the day, she was a delight and a credit to your hotel and company, sorry, I forgot to take her name.

The venue is beautiful and a calm setting with great views. The food was on the whole was ample and a good selection. The sandwiches were a little dry on both sides and although there was a great selection of cakes, there were three of us and sometimes only 1 or 2 of the mini cakes on offer. Everything else had three eg three sandwiches, three scones Every all it was a great experience and value for money.
