Great mains - fish and chips. A bit disappointed with desert not as expected. However, bar/serving staff were polite, gracious and very obliging. Apologies i don't know your names but the two young men on Wednesday evening 28th Oct. were superb. Thank you. You made our experience even better. Look forward to returning.

Hidden gem - within enjoyable short walking distance of Samlesbury Hall. We visited for lunch mid-week for an event at the Hall. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of menu on offer. Felt carefully thought-out with the usual classics, plus few creative dishes. Very pretty, roomy dining room, lovely friendly staff. Will defo return next time in the area :)

We went for lunch on Saturday myself & a friend. They had a wedding happening at the same time, so it was quite noisy, but that was fine by us, you would expect that. The young lady who served us was brilliant. She was under a lot of pressure what with wedding guests & diners, but she coped beautifully. A lovely setting, lovely food, and we were well taken care of by our waitress .

Lovely Sunday lunch. Keep doing what you are doing great. Our friends enjoyed it too and have been a number of times. We had been with previous owners. Only things we forgot to use was our 10% discount, as we are all Bowland Fell caravan owners.
