    The food was amazing… highlights: OG Hugo Spritz, zucchini fries, chicken Marsala and chocolate cake…so decadent! This place is definitely the hotspot in Walnut Creek right now. Don’t even bother trying to come if you don’t have a reservation.  Our service was also excellent. Our server’s name was Sage.

    My spouse and our two teenage kids loved this place. We ate brunch in the speak easy section and really enjoyed the privacy. The food and service was amazing. We enjoyed the water front and shops located on first Street. We definitely want to come back for dinner.

    Great meal. Everything was super tasty and indulgently on point. Grits and chicken mains were both completely on point. Greens were an absolute highlight lively vinegar. The crispy spring onion and chicken liver mousse starters were a great kickoff. Apple crisp was a beast plenty left over. Interior is fun retro and alive and staff was beyond friendly. We brought our 16 month old and the hostess was an absolute gem making our dinner carefree. He had a blast (and enjoyed everything too). Forgot to mention the potato salad was money as well. Honestly thought the place was great. Not cheap but also in line with my value expectations given the preparation and quantity.
