    We had an outstanding dinner at Epulo Bistro, up in Edmonds. Found it on Opentable and it didn't disappoint. Strong recommendation! Not only is the food wonderful, but we had great service and it's a lovely place! For the sake of it, this was our dinner: Cocktails: A special that was something like a Rose Elderberry Gin & Soda thing (not doing it justice) and SINCERELY, SCRATCH, which was scratch citrus vodka, fresh basil, lime juice, house-made champagne simple syrup Two wonderful appetizers: STUFFED MUSHROOMS: roasted mushroom caps filled with house-made spicy sausage, fontina, breadcrumbs, green onion, dijon HOUSE-MADE BURRATA: grape tomatoes, balsamic reduction, and toasted cottage bakery baguette Entrees were delicious: DUCK BREAST: juniper rubbed PNW duck breast, pommes gratin, asparagus, cherry gastrique BLACK COD: seared black cod with brandy compound butter, fingerling potatoes, baby carrots And excellent desserts: ZEPPOLE: house-made donuts dusted with cinnamon sugar, salted caramel sauce BURNT CREMA CHEESCAKE w/blueberry compote We like to explore new restaurants when we get it together to try a "nicer" place, if you know what I mean, but this is a great place for a special night out and we will be back!
