Sheffield first pancake and waffle house! Established over 8 years ago by a local Sheffield family. Our family has American routes and it's been a long standing tradition that we have a pancake and waffle brunch every weekend. One week, in 2015, we decided to try and have this traditional brunch out in Sheffield. We visited many restaurants, all 'sold out' of pancakes. It was that moment we realised Sheffield couldn't offer this experience we so cherished. Around 1 year later, The Cabin was opened, aiming to capture our heritage, and love of all things North American. Great coffee, great food, great ambience and friendly staff. We're especially passionate about pancakes, like, we really love them and we hope you will too!

    Amazing food, outstanding service and beautiful aesthetic! We thought the prices were really reasonable for the quality of the food. We had a wheelchair user in our party and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, they were very friendly and attentive. The outdoor space looked amazing too, perfect place to enjoy a cocktail in the sun! Overall, we felt very well looked after and had a lovely evening! We will definately be back!

    The dining room was noisy but to be honest it added to the experience, it was buzzy and had good vibes! The food was excellent, I had a great ceaser salad to start and we both had the belly pork as mains… very tasty!! Every member of staff we encountered was great, so friendly and knowledgeable. Only negative was when we were in the bar the security guy was walking up and down and a guy with a radio was very stern looking ‘working in hospitality for 15 years I think the security should blend into the background and only step forward when needed rather than frowning whilst surveying the room. We would definitely return even Considering a group birthday celebration later in the year.

    We had a really good time- friendly service and great food with big portions of American diner fare. They’ve only been open for a month so we’ll look forward to going back in future.
