- SsondraLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had the best night. We wanted to go the first night on SD but did not have a reservation (You definitely need one). We booked one for a Monday. They did not disappoint. We originally had a table by the front window but there was a big party next to us. They asked us to move to another table to accommodate the party but in turn made up for it by buying us a drink and moved us to in my opinion a better area of the restaurant. The food was amazing and the service top tier. Jesus took great care of us. I definitely recommend and will come again for date night or girls night.More infoZama Restaurant & Bar$$$$• Sushi• Downtown•4

The restaurant was poppin' very lively with great music and packed and after the dinner we had; understand why. Book your reservation out at least a month as it's in extremely high demand. Service was exceptional, very nice waitress who had the menu down cold both front and back. Ambiance 10/10, fun music. 15/10 for food. All of it was packed with flavor and delicious. Pork tomahawk and wagyu new York strip were exceptional but what stole the show for us was the charred cabbage. We had never had anything like it and for being such a simple ingredient it was phenomenal. Like.. would've ordered a second plate it was so good, lights out. We couldn't quit talking about the damn cabbage of all things. Get the cabbage! Probably the most expensive dinner we've ever had (come from humble beginnings) but it was worth it and probably self inflicted. I didn't NEED to get the $160 new York strip, but you know, eff it we ball (occasionally) and I'm glad we did. 12/10 would recommend.More infoAnimae$$$$• Contemporary Asian• Downtown•4.8
- CCaitlynSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy husband and I made a reservation for our 10 year anniversary. Fortunate Son did not disappoint. The ambiance is so cool and special. The beers were delicious and different than the normal SD menus. The food was so delicious, it was hard to put the chopsticks down. We ordered shrimp fried rice, beef lo mein, and orange chicken. All of the plates were incredible, but I have to highlight the shrimp fried rice. It was so garlicky and delicious, but best of all, was how the shrimp was cooked. It had a crisp to it without being overcooked. Totally recommend Fortunate Son for a spectacular meal and experience.More infoFortunate Son$$$$• Chinese• North Park•4.7
