    In an era where opposite of good service is normative, Gyu-Kaku breaks the mode. Reservations are demanded to eat at this fine establishment, but they are worth the trouble. Food of course is delicious, but the kind attention of the staff sets this place apart. Five stars in every aspect. Will dine there every time we're near Pasadena. Great place!

    Manager knew how to create the birthday experience our family expected. The food was delicious- always is. We ordered The Last Supper- great variety of meats and high quality taste. Servers were slow to take our order and trouble shoot a food shortage issue. Had it not been for the customer service and attention of the manager, this would be a different review. We will definitely be returning!
