- CChristieChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a wonderful dinner at the Publican! This was our 3rd visit in the last year. We were hosting out of town guests and they raved about how delicious every dish tasted. The trout crudo was one of our favorites. We order the rilettes every time we dine at the Publican. So tasty! Asparagus, bavette steak, mushrooms, carrots and lamb tartine were all fantastic. We left full and happy. The chocolate cake and the key lime granita were the perfect end of dinner sweets! Sophia was so kind and friendly. We can’t wait for our next dinner at the Publican!More infoThe Publican$$$$• American• West Loop•4.6

- BBonnieColumbus •10 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 13, 2026Had a 10 person pre-Blackhawks event at Kaiser Tiger. We arrived early (4:30 for a 7:30pm game) and there was plenty of seating available. Given size of our group, we did reserve a table ahead of time. By 6:00pm, the place was humming. Free shuttle to and from United Center is a plus. We only used the shuttle to the game as walking was only about 10-15 minutes and it was a beautiful spring night in Chicago. Plus, there is a $5/hr parking garage next door and lots of on the street paid parking available. Service - for us (Monday night) it was walk up to the bar and order drinks, or walk up to the shed to order from a limited number of drinks. The Kaiser Chicken sandwhich and burgers were very good. Sizeable with lots of good toppings. Other items - were NOT good - Turkey Ruben should be removed from the menu. The salad portion was a bit small. For our casual pre-game event, this place was a solid 4 out of 5 stars.More infoKaiser Tiger$$$$• American• West Loop•4.4
