Le Pain Quotidien means the daily bread. And to us, that means everything. It’s much more than mere sustenance; it’s a way of life. As our loaves emerge from the ovens, warm and fragrant, friends gather around our communal tables to share in the time-honoured tradition of breaking bread. Located on Elm Street, in the heart of New Canaan’s downtown shopping district, we are steps away from the Metro North train station. With vaulted ceilings and a chapel-like façade, our store is perhaps one of the most unique buildings on Elm Street! We love inviting our neighbors to gather for events – in fact, we host the New Canaan “Newcomers’ Club” once a month and welcome a local middle school French class to immerse themselves in francophone culture and cuisine annually. Join us for a delicious Avocado Toast at our communal table, or simply enjoy a Belgian brownie and cappuccino on our outdoor patio as the rest of New Canaan passes by.

As our loaves emerge from the ovens, warm and fragrant, friends gather around our communal tables to share in the time-honoured tradition of breaking bread. Located on Rye’s historic Purchase Street, we are just walking distance from the train station and minutes from the Rye Arts Center. Our façade’s floor to ceiling windows let in a tremendous amount of natural light during the day, while exposed wood beams and reclaimed wood finishes make our restaurant a cozy place to retreat. Offering our traditional communal table in addition to bench seating, we are perfectly suited to relaxing weekend brunches or delicious after-school treats!

Le Pain Quotidien means the daily bread. And to us, that means everything. It’s much more than mere sustenance; it’s a way of life. As our loaves emerge from the ovens, warm and fragrant, friends gather around our communal tables to share in the time-honoured tradition of breaking bread. At the end of Greenwich Avenue, our store is situated in a quaint cream colored clapboard row house. Step inside, and you’ll feel like you've been transported to the Belgian countryside, surrounded by our reclaimed wood millwork, antique tractor seats and exposed brick wainscoting. With two long communal tables and a spacious open floor plan, we love to host our neighbors for private events.
