Le Pain Quotidien means the daily bread. And to us, that means everything. It’s much more than mere sustenance; it’s a way of life. As our loaves emerge from the ovens, warm and fragrant, friends gather around our communal tables to share in the time-honoured tradition of breaking bread.
In the Carnegie Hill section of the Upper East Side, our restaurant is a short walk from Museum Mile and Central Park. With windows facing both 88th Street and Lexington Avenue, we have lovely natural light and great views of the surrounding streets. In addition to the typical rustic details characteristic of Le Pain Quotidien, our restaurant features a pantry display from an apothecary shop and an arch above it that was influenced by the Immanuel Lutheran Church across the street. Join us for happy hour Monday through Friday or for brunch on weekends, when our inviting neighborhood patio is in full swing.
