Lovely open kitchen atmosphere. Service and food amazing from start to finish. We (party of 6) had a hard time leaving.

The cocktail menu is unusual - and reading it can occupy you for quite a while. Food is of the "essence" of flavor variety - very satisfying. Service was exemplary.

Exchange Street Bistro is a favorite. The menu has become more Italian focused as of late, but the quality is first rate and portions are enormous. I highly recommend the Sunday Sauce and the Haddock with Lobster Risotto. Their Caesar Salad is fresh and the dressing house-made. They also make interesting cocktails. The service is awesome. Shout out to Jess, who was wonderful and the manager on duty who kept us laughing. The prices are an absolute bargain with their most expensive item topping out at $35, and pasta dishes as low as $21. On-street parking in Malden can be a challenge, but they do validate at a nearby garage. When in season they do offer outdoor dining as well. This is a strong positive recommendation… we will be back soon.

What a great place to meet and socialize! I played mahjong on the patio and it was fabulous! I recommend this place for its service and good food.
