We had the Oysters and and chicken parfait for starters. The Maldon oysters were fresh from the sea and tasted so. The chicken parfait was enough for two people on its own. The star of the meal was my venison cooked to perfection on a bed of purreed cauliflower smooth and creamy. My daughter had the pie with meat filling in a lovely pastry and super smooth mash. Crème brûlée crunchy caramel topping and the crème enfused with real vanilla. The apple and pear crumble had a great crunchy crumble and you could taste both apple and pear perfectly.
