Celebrated my wife’s 52nd birthday at Avant and it was a perfect evening. Paul, our server, was attentive and knew the menu thoroughly, and Ann at the host stand was very accommodating. The Maine Diver Scallops, NY Strip, and Prime Angus Tomahawk were all cooked to perfection, and my wife, a retired chef, agreed. The signature cocktails were excellent, and the Wake Me Up Doughnut was the perfect finish. Highly recommend!

Late night dinner on a Monday night was excellent. Server (forgot his name) was really efficient and helpful. He made a great recommendation on a Willamette Valley Pinot Grigio. Mussels were unbelievable with slightly spicy sauce that had us asking for 3 more bread baskets to soak up the sauce. Other starters were good though thought the crab cakes a bit doughy. Ahi tuna and halibut were excellent. It was a quiet Monday night nad we had the place to ourselves to enjoy the mild October night in Del Mar!

Had breakfast here and the food was great! We ordered the chilaquiles and Benedict and we loved them both. The macadamia latte transferred me to the beach in Hawaii, I got two they were so good! I’ll definitely be back great little spot to grab breakfast and explore the nearby shops.
