Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Benenden

The best fillet steak and chips for lunch I've ever had. Grace did a brilliant job at welcoming guests and serving everyone with a smile and her bubbly personality. I will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Union yesterday to celebrate my Mum's birthday - we decided on the 'Feasting' Menu and what a treat! The food was absolutely delicious, some very unusual and special combinations, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The setting is also very nice, a roaring fire, which gives a beautiful timeless and quiet ambience combined with excellent service made for a very good choice!

The new weekly lunchtime menu for November is an excellent idea; where else could you have a 2 course lunch for £17 and a 3 course for £20. The quiche starter, steak frites main and crepes to follow were all delicious

Yet another outstanding lunch and first class dining experience at the Poet, this time the chocolate week menu. The foie gras starter was melt in the mouth and sooo tasty, leaving you eagerly awaiting the next course. The main of octopus and scallops was the best octopus dish I have ever had - soo good. The multi taster chocolate dessert plate was beautifully presented and a great way to round off an outstanding lunch. Beautifully presented, sumptuous food and the usual highly impressive, impeccable service from engaging staff, this time led by Poppy. We will be back as soon as we can.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Print House, very cosy and welcoming. The pasta with was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. Will return
