Best Continental Restaurants in Highland Park, Los Angeles

Our waiter, Alex, is wonderful, and he served us the BEST martinis! They have daily specials, and I particularly like dining there on Wednesdays when the special is sauerbraten with potato pancakes. Wunderbar. The old Hollywood atmosphere is something every visitor (and locals like myself) should experience. It is, hands down, my favorite restaurant in Hollywood.

I have been to Tam O’Shanter many times in the last 40 years. The food is always well prepared, excellent quality, served at the perfect temperature. The staff is always kind, pleasant and professional. Even those who bus the tables are always pleasant. There is a chocolate soufflé (and other flavors) available after 5:00 pm - it a wonderful treat! I will go to this restaurant again and again. I highly recommend it to you.

McKay's is a great place to do your pre-game tailgating. Buffet food set-up, which was a good value at $40 each. Bar is available for drinks. I really appreciate the service at McKay's, especially how they took my reservation months in advance. A+ all around. Fight on!
