Best Continental Restaurants in University Area

First of all the views were pretty nice!! The planes in and out, the mountains, awesome. We ordered a Caesar salad, steak frites and scallops. Delicious, all of it and the scallops were hands down the best we have ever tasted. We will be back and make sure we spend time in the Fairmont to experience the food once more.

From the hostess at the door, to the ambiance of the old Vancouver charm of the building, to our table was top-notch charm. Our server Katie has over politeness, accommodating in every way and provided us with the best service I've had to date. The table was downstairs, which diverted us to a quieter place to enjoy our meals. Plus, [party of 5] you could hear everyone around the table. The food was wonderful from the seafood fetticini, salmon burgers, pulled pork sandwich, and tuna poke bowl. Everything came out at the right temperature and was utterly tasty. The black forest cake is not my favourite dessert, after tasting your cake, I take that back. Yum! The beers were great with a lot of tastes to choose from. Thanks to the Steamworks team, especially Katie, who made our dinner spectacular!

Server was very professional and personal! Big windows with bright beautiful view. Fries were so good! A little slow to get the bill. Very good overall

Came to the buffet dinner to celebrate our 13th anniversary and baby #3 on the way ! I want to express my gratitude to the staff but most importantly our server Merley ! She is so nice and quick with service when it came to clearing our table in between dishes and grabbing anything we needed . Also super sweet she prepared an Anniversary dessert arrangement that made our night out even sweeter You are amazing Merley!! And I cant wait to come back again and hopefully have you as our server again. We thoight the food was great! Especially for the price we paid. Variety of foods including , seafood ,sushi, prime rib , Chinese, charcuterie and so much more . IF I had to add items on the list I would suggest sliders ans fries ha. But over all great experience , great staff and great food! Definitely will try next time we come back to the River Rock. Thank you so much again ! See you soon

Popped in for a late dinner and the server couldn't have been more wonderful. Warm and welcoming, helpful with the menu, attentive but not overbearing at all. The portions were plentiful and the food was good. Will be back again!
