Overall, it was a good experience. The food was decent, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the staff truly stood out with their excellent service and hospitality. The pricing felt reasonable for what was offered.

The food is delicious and the service is friendly and welcoming you to practice your German or to speak English. It was lovely to get to try regional cuisine; we specifically wanted to try sauerbraten, which my partner enjoyed. It was vinegary and salty, and served with a nice applesauce that complimented the dish. I got the haxenpfännchen which was a savory hash of pork knuckle (if you've never had it, it's mostly meat and the skin is crackled). Quite delicious and comes with over a pound of meat and seems like over a pound of potatoes, so come hungry!
