Godfrey’s Bakery Café is an incredible addition to the Falls Church area. The space itself is beautiful, modern, and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to sit down and unwind. Everything from their expertly crafted espresso drinks and artisan coffees to their spectacular selection of fresh pastries and savory dishes is top-tier. You can really tell the head chef puts an immense amount of passion and artistry into the food. The service is fast, friendly, and efficient even when they are busy. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I was staying at the Marriott AC hotel that Seven is connected to and decided to try it for dinner. Sat at the bar and enjoyed an amazing meal. As it was on the later side, I skipped the appetizer and went right to the entree of short ribs with glazed carrots and potato puree. The ribs were fork tender and delicious, the potato purée creamy and buttery, and the carrots perfectly cooked. The entree was followed up by a comforting flan for dessert. My server Jason was very knowledgeable and made outstanding recommendations about both food and drink. My dinner was complemented by an Angel’s Envy old fashioned and a good California Cabernet Sauvignon.
