Best European Restaurants in Fisherman's Wharf

Roses is the most delicious food with an amazing Italian wine list to compliment each course. Service is stellar and the food comes out promptly and perfectly balanced and prepared. The remodeled interior is cozy and relaxed. Roses is the perfect family friendly restaurant with a wide selection of delicious pizzas and pasta, but also great for date night with more sophisticated entrees. We give Roses our highest recommendation!!

We had an early dinner, and the restaurant had only 3 tables when we sat down, but it was full within half an hour. Reservations are sometimes hard to get, but they do take walk-ins at the bar. The food is always amazing and true to French cooking with traditional items like duck confit and coq au vin. We had the seafood puff pastry and Brussels sprouts salad to start, and both were delicious. For entrees, we had the hangar steak and the halibut, and both were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a glass of a very nice Bordeaux. Service was on point, with the staff making sure our water was refilled. The server was very charming and made us feel welcome. I always enjoy meals at L'ardoise because the staff and food are both amazing.

So much fun! Love that San Francisco is able to keep these places alive. 10 out of 10!

Always a great experience when coming here. It’s been a place my husband defaults back to because the food is always great. The pesto and shrimp scampi never fail us. Definitely keeping up the tradition to come back soon.

It is a fun and unique dining experience but than more than that, the food is really really good and the service is excellent. If you don’t think you’re into fondue, which would be crazy, there are other options.
