Excellent evening at Neumanns. Table of 5 midweek. We ordered a range of appetizers, entrees and desserts along with wine and some drinks. Note, they don’t make cocktails, and only follow drink menu. Service, we had Felix as our waiter, and he was warm, friendly, funny, patient and ensured we had a great and funny night. He simply made the evening fun, and he is absolutely fantastic. We were definitely a bit more active than most diners and he was simply a joy. The food was excellent across the appetizers, snitzel, fish and soups, all were hot, tasty and looked delicious. Fantastic night, great food, great service from Felix and a very nice ambience, totally recommend Neumanns.

Interesting place! But definitely worth a visit. Food is great and worth a visit. The restaurant is stuck inbetween two or three buildings so it’s not easy to find, so they should think of better signage!

Naya impresses from the outset with its striking brick facade and ample parking conveniently located right in front. Housed in a converted barn, the restaurant blends rustic charm with modern touches with high ceilings, sleek lighting, and a stylish bar at the entrance, followed by a second bar and dining area. While the ceiling lights add to the ambiance, they create quite a glare, which can be a little distracting. The artwork on the walls is interesting and adds character to the space. We had a selection of sushi : The double tuna was well-prepared and enjoyable. The surf and turf with truffle was excellent, a definite highlight. The prawn tempura had a slightly burnt taste, and the batter wasn’t as light or crisp as expected. The salmon with avocado was decent but had a slightly fishy aftertaste. The aubergine dish was disappointing-small in portion and lacking seasoning, making it quite bland. The wine selection was reasonable, though the markups were steeper than usual. Service was efficient but minimal transactional rather than engaging. Overall, Naya offers a stylish setting and some standout dishes, but inconsistency in execution and a somewhat impersonal service keep it from being truly exceptional.
