    Exceptional meal, as usual. The foie gras was superb, and my wife's terrine de porc et canard aux abricots was simply one one of the best we've ever had. No need to spend a fortune at l'Etoile to have a great meal, my mussels and my wife's boeuf bourguignon were delicious as a second course at about 22 bucks. Philippe Verpiand is definitely one of the most talented chefs in Houston, and really knows how to execute everything flawlessly at a very decent price. L'Etoile has been our go-to place for French food for over 10 years and will remain so!

    I had an amazing time at this restaurant. It was our first season and definitely will not be our last. The service was exceptional. Down to the spacing of utensils so that plates can be placed perfectly. I wanted to make sure I give a huge kudos to the staff and chefs. I will never forget my experience and especially to Ricky who took time to really answer all my questions and explain perfectly all that I was eating and drinking. He was the most gracious host.
