Best European Restaurants in Chemainus

Had the Zucher pork tenderloin with German noodles. Very tasty and good portion. Would have been nice to have a side vegetable with it like braised red cabbage or sauerkraut.

We keep coming back to Rudi because we know we won't be disappointed. We recently took friends there for their first time and an extremely good time was had by all. Standouts were the Risotto, Orecchiette and the chocolate torte. Service was attentive, as always and the vibe was cozy. If you haven't tried it, you're in for a treat.

Both our dinner meals were excellent. We had the pasta and two different salads. And then a Tiramisu. Every dish was fabulous. I always this was only a coffee place, but will definitely come back again and again for meals.

What a wonderful place to share a meal! The staff are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. They seem to know intuitively when they are needed. The food is second to none and they have a good wine list. My personal favorites are their steak frites and their moules frites. Last night we had their carrot cake for dessert. The wine pairing our server suggested for last night's meal was exactly the right choice. We are tempted to go back there this evening just for dessert! Price point: $$ - $$$. Les Faux is located at Fraser and Kingsway with pretty good parking in the vicinity. It's a cozy spot. It's a place you'll return to again and again - I know my wife and I do and we have never been disappointed.
