One person in our group had avoided lamb her whole life, and this was the first time she genuinely enjoyed it. The wine list is a joy, and the mission behind it matters. I worked in wine and have seen how much extra resilience women in this industry need, and it’s great to see a list built around them. Our affordable Chinon from Clos de la Niverdière punched well above its weight. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. The space is beautiful: a fresh renovation that respects the building’s 19th-century bones while giving it new, modern life. Only London does this so well!!!
