Best French Restaurants in Victoria

We keep coming back to Rudi because we know we won't be disappointed. We recently took friends there for their first time and an extremely good time was had by all. Standouts were the Risotto, Orecchiette and the chocolate torte. Service was attentive, as always and the vibe was cozy. If you haven't tried it, you're in for a treat.

We were seated promptly and the service was great. We had the French onion soup for an appetizer (it was big enough for 2 people to share). My husband had steak frites and said it was delicious. I had the beef cheeks and it was amazing. The dessert was chocolate cake with pears with Brie on top, very different, but delicious. The cocktails were superb as well.

Escargot was wonderful. We had Beef Bourguignon was excellent. Such a nice cozy atmosphere.

Always a lovely, slow, enjoyable evening at Atelier. Thank you Matt for the wonderful hospitality and conversation! Food top notch as always. Service was excellent. We love coming to Atelier for an upscale evening.

It’s our last day in Victoria and we want a nice brunch prior to catching the ferry home. We found Joie online and thought would give it a try. Attentive service. Great foods and drink. We were glad we found Joie. And will most definitely come back again when ever we are in town.
