The food was excellent, except my granddaughter is a vegan and the only vegan dish on the menu was not available, fortunately there was another dish on the menu that she could eat, the only thing I could complain about, all else was great.

Lovely pub in a great location, being close to the Old Vic Theatre and Waterloo stations. Great selection of beers, a wide menu of quality food, and efficient friendly service. Highly recommended!

We had our dinner booking cancelled late on by the Bull & Egret's sister pub, The Newman Arms. By way of an apology, the Newman Arms had sent us an e-mail to say that we could have a round of drinks on them, if we presented the e-mail to the staff at the Bull & Egret that they would honour it. They did this without any quibble at all. The food was excellent and the Murphys smooth and delicious!
