    10 out of 10 experience! The service was friendly, warm, and knowledgable. Little touches like how quickly they refolded a napkin when a person got up from the table and how the kitchen was able to accommodate our group splitting the lamb chops with one being at a different temperature, really impressed me. This is an SF institution for a reason, and I can't wait to come back!

    What a welcoming experience in Walnut Creek. Booked for a business dinner and was my first time. Honestly the service from the get go was amazing. I dine out frequently and could not have been happier I love friendly staff even when they are not attending your table. Food was a delight. Everyone ordered something different and it was top notch. Next time I am back in town this is on the top of my list.

    This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. We had a 5:30 reservation and by 6:00 the restaurant was full. Our server was just brilliant! The Spanakopita and Saganaki appetizers were among the best we have ever had. Excellent Mousakka and Garides Saganaki Pasta entrees. First time at this restaurant, but definitely not our last!

    This has been our third time we came to Lavanta since it opened in February. And every single time it has been amazing. Not just the food but the service has been a big part of the night. They are very attentive but not hanging by your table every minute. I could eat a gallon of their Chocolate ice cream in one sitting. So delicious and a plus is that it is made in house and no additional sugar is added. One of my favorite restaurants to go to in San Leandro.
