I was born in New York and moved to Greenville when I was 5. I grew up here and decided to leave when I was 25. I moved to Chicago and a year later enrolled at LeCordon Bleu Chicago. After finishing culinary school and living in Chicago for about 2 years, Greenville was slowly becoming just a memory. Little did I know what was going on in the town I grew up in: it was becoming a jewel! Four years later my wife and I decided to make the move. My Dream all along was to open a cool, hip Greek restaurant! With our farm-to-table philosophy, serving local food directly from the producer is important! This means that we embrace sustainable agriculture, organic farming, free range animal husbandry while opposing the treatment of animals with antibiotics and hormones merely to make them grow faster. Our chefs use the freshest, never processed, meat and produce local farmers have available. Serving you the freshest local meat, honey, herbs, and many other products will always be our prio

We started with a table of appetizers and honestly could have stopped with that, it was enough food. Everything was very good, fresh. I especially loved the Spanikopita (?)/ The phyllo was crispy and the filling was well balanced. The olive plate was fine-- a little disappointing as we are used to the excellent olives from Whole Foods. But they were good. Nothing wrong- just not exciting. For the entrees: My partner had the lamb gyro I had a pasta / spiced ground beef dish . Both were satisfying and filling. Don't recall the rest-- but I would definitely go back again. The wine I chose was the only disappointment of the evening. It was a basic house wine. Next time I'll order an expensive glass of wine and see if it's more interesting.

We expected this to be more elaborate than it was however, our Uber driver corrected us while en route. He was kind enough to explain it was basically a bar that was attached to the pizzeria next door. That said, turns out he is a regular here and said we had made a good choice. He recommended pizza or calzones and dropped us off. The two of us sat at the bar and quickly noted it was just a bar; dark, close quarters, several TVs, etc. Took the bartender a bit to acknowledge us and it was far from busy; 1815 on a Saturday. Later on a gentleman sat next to us and the bartender did the same thing till we got his attention. Once he noticed us though, he was super attentive and helpful. This is where the great happens! The taps are all local micros. While they don't have flights they are knowledgeable on the taste and descriptions. The young lady behind the bar worked well with the guy and so both would make recommendations. When it came to food, the Uber driver NAILED IT! Hands down best pizza I've had in a long time (with exception to Jersey boardwalk pizza. That's just a different food group all together!). It was clear they make their own dough. It is crunchy/flaky on the outside and soft, but not gooey, on the inside. I got the Calzone and it was literally melt in your mouth good. My friend got the chicken gyro which was huge and couldn't even be folded like a normal gyro it was so full! The guy that sat down later ordered an appetizer of garlic knots and a small pizza. He received 6 knots that literally filled a standard dinner plate. If you get those, plan to share! For us, the food drove this place over the top. Oh, we ordered an appetizer, calzone, gyro, 3 local taps, and 3 domestic bottles. Our bill was $50. Damn good price for the amount of food and quality.
