Our owner Jimmy started Mt Fuji Japanese Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse back in 2005 as an small sushi restaurant. Since then we've won 2 awards from The Courier Post Readers Choice for one of the Best Sushi and Japanese Cuisine in South Jersey. Fast forward to 2013 we opened our Hibachi Grill section and ever since then it's been the go-to place for people that wants to have fun and watch an performance at the same time. Our menu has three sections one for sushi bar items, the second one for Japanese Cuisine and the third one for the Hibachi Grill. With over 30 years of experience in Japanese Cuisine with his specialty in sushi, Jimmy strives on perfecting the art of sushi making and is always makes sure that the ingredients used are all up to standards before cooking. That is our secret to why we were able to maintain our 4.0 and above reviews from all platforms!We are the only restaurant in Deptford that serves Sushi and have Hibachi performances!

    Our family had a great experience dining in. This is our first time at this restaurant. We came for an early dinner to avoid the huge crowd. Staff is very nice and friendly. Food is great. The portion sizes on the meat were more than what we expected. Price is very reasonable. We had the All You Can Eat Asian Bbq and limited sushi. We will definitely go back.

    We went to Mt Fuji with a party of 7 to celebrate a birthday. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed it. Six of us ordered the hibachi and one ordered sushi. Everyone was pleased. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Even the two in our party who were in their pre-teens enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended and will definitely go again.
