Best Indian Restaurants in Milton, Atlanta

My husband and I ate at Ghee Restaurant in Atlanta this past weekend, and it was so good! We opted for the tasting menu so we could experience a wide range of dishes, and it absolutely delivered. Of the 12 courses, we loved 8, really enjoyed most of the others, and only had one that didn’t quite hit the same level (which is more a reflection of how great everything else was than a knock on that dish). The bar program was just as impressive, and our service team was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. A few helpful notes: you get 3 hours of free parking in the attached deck, and the restaurant was quite busy—so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation. This is also a fantastic option for anyone who is gluten-free or vegetarian (though we went with the meat-inclusive tasting menu). 10/10 would recommend. We’ll absolutely be back and already can’t wait!

The food, service and ambiance was excellent. Overall a great experience.

First time in and all 4 of our party's dishes were delicious. The food is fresh and flavorful. We will be back to try other dishes. The place is nice, the chairs are comfortable, and there was a nice bar area.

New owners/management as of January and the whole experience was fabulous. The interior is lovely and the change after the new takeover was incredible. Their Chef really knows how to prepare incredible cuisine. The new menu has so much variety(Indian) and they are adding a few more dishes but we found so many options already. Our service was wonderful, we enjoyed multiple courses and everything was so good. Their homemade Naan(garlic, bullet, plain etc) were fabulous along with the papadam with tamarind sauce and VERY good green chutney. We also tried the shrimp pepper sautee/fry appetizer(incredible and my new favorite), chicken tikka masala and paneer(fantastic) tikka masala…along with their Indian bread pudding with cashews and another dessert. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of Pessimist by Daou.Vineyards. Finally great Indian food in a lovely setting in Suwanee…

Sankranti is a hidden gem. The food is incredibly flavorful and unique. The appetizer section on the menu is huge with tasty flavorful items. The waiter is very kind.
