My best friend and I travelled to London from the Midlands for bottomless brunch and a trip to the theatre. On arrival at The Riding House we had the warmest greeting promptly shown to our table and the entire 90 minutes we received the most attentive service. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The gentleman looking after us was friendly, warm always checking up on us and was truly incredible. Thank you for the most wonderful experience we loved it.

Love love love this place. Always amazing good, we tried the Pizzas this time and they were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive without being over bearing and they added to the experience as always. Already booked next visit!

Really lovely place, staff really welcoming... we arrived half hr early, yet still let us have our table, there was no rush on the food or drinks... food was so good!! definitely recommend this place xx

My wife and I liked our food very much. My well done steak frites was the best I have ever had. We ordered tea and a main meal. The tea came quickly but the meal took 50 minutes.

Fergus spent the majority of his life as a passionate home chef, until his late 20's when stepped into a professional kitchen for the first time. He quickly got hooked on the buzz of a busy service, but also to need to explore and experiment far more then what is practical in a typical restaurant. Toward the end of 2019 he decided do induce his own baptism of fire, by launching a supper club serving a taster menu of experimental dishes in his home town. Alkemio is actually the Esperanto spelling for alchemy, Esperanto was a language that was constructed out of the world's languages and had no real home. Fergus aims to take inspiration from cuisine across the world, combining ingredients, flavour profiles and formats in ways you have not seen before, all the while elevating each dish with technique and presentation to make it unforgettable!

Impeccable service. Delightful Beatrix Potter themed afternoon tea. Delicious amuse-bouche and open sandwiches were served in addition to traditional finger sandwiches, scones and desserts. Excellent selection of teas and jams. Champagne and piano live music were lovely, too. Victoria sponge cake offered after as well. 10 out of 10 for us.
