The discrete entrance, gives way to a beautifully balanced interior that is at once warm, friendly and intelligently laid out. All service staff were that perfect blend of friendly, whilst being efficient and never overly didactic about the menu or the experience. Food was unpretentious, focused on core ingredients and flavours that are allowed to be subtle rather than supercharged with rich sauces. Excellent value for money and overall one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Sydney for a while.

What a lovely restaurant find in our backyard! We booked for a Sunday roast but only one of us enjoyed the 4 offerings for this whilst the other 3 chose from the menu . No-one was disappointed and our meals were delicious and HOT! The lamb cutlets were beautifully cooked, the regular was tasty and Moorish, the pork belly was very flavoursome whilst the pork ribs were finger licking good! We also enjoyed cheese garlic bread, lemon deep fried calamari( sooo tender) and burrata with heirloom tomatoes and pesto dressing. Total cost $160 . Drink are available from the bar by self purchase. Our only complaint was that it was quite a slow service for meals to arrive but they were definitely worth the wait! There is a bistro for the golf club members behind doors near the bar so maybe the kitchen was busy with getting more meals than just those in Stone. Excellent value for money, not loud but it could be if it was busier, and a lovely waiter to attend to our order. We will be back !

Cool vibes, feels like I’m on holiday there. Nice food and toilet
