Best Irish Restaurants in Bearna

Our servers were exceptional. I apologise i can't remember the lady's name, but she was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was lovely, and the cocktails were exceptional, although they were a little small for the price. Overall, a very enjoyable afternoon.

We had a fantastic meal. The menu was imaginative and thoughtful, the presentation beautiful and the flavours were wonderful. Could not fault the food at all. Lovely service too, although our server probably should have had a briefing on the new items on the menu, but she found out what she didn't know and it wasn't a problem. Can't wait to go again. This was a special occasion and we were looked after very well. Particular note of thanks goes to Fergal the manager.

I went to Universal Bar while solo traveling for my birthday and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! The team was so warm and welcoming and really made the night feel special, which meant a lot being on my own. The service was top notch from start to finish and made the whole experience feel so thoughtful and personal. Every dish was amazing, but the lamb was hands down the best I’ve ever had. It was perfectly cooked, super flavorful; can you fall in love at first bite? I now know: yes you can. If you’re in Galway, you have to go. This place is something special. I would literally come back to Ireland just for this dining experience again!

We had a lovely evening here, really nice to stop by since we live so close to it. Great food, staff were kind and lovely wine selection. We will be back in the near future.

Excellent food, good portions, nice ambiance with the live music. Appreciated the gluten free options.
