Being Italian, I’m not quick to recommend “Italian “ restaurants. Capri, however, is superb. Just like being in a countryman’s home. We are blessed in Burr Ridge, to have this gem. My friend and I had the fried calamari with our martinis. The meat was tender, and there wasn’t a trace of grease to be seen. I chose the penne arribiatta for my entre. It was pleasantly spicy. Not overwhelming. My friend had the shrimp and linguini. They were the largest shrimp I’ve seen in a restaurant. Both pastas were perfectly al dente. My limoncello float was a perfect ending along with delicious espresso. My lunch mate loved here tiramisu and carpaccio. Lovely interlude on a cold late autumn afternoon.

The International Wine tasting event was spectacular. Well organized, 3 different companies and many to choose from. The food that accompanied the wine was so good as usual at Taurasi. Would highly recommend taking in a wine tasting at Taurasi.

Everyone was fantastic - it was a very busy night and the entire staff were very accommodating. People were enjoying the ambiance and my family and I enjoyed a beautiful night. We had the grilled calamari and various pasta dishes. I'm gluten free and I was still able to enjoy the special that night while everyone else enjoyed the fettuccine alfredo and ravioli entrees.
