Best Italian Restaurants in Mission Beach

I Loved The Accents, Made The Whole Experience Authentic. Not A Long Wait, Food Came In Much Quicker Than I Expected Which Was Amazing. My Daughter Was Super Happy That They Came Back Around To Ask Is If She Wanted Even More Cheese On Our Pasta.Servers All Looked Like They Took Pride In This Place. I Also Love That They Reached Out To Help Me Have A Greater Experience For My Next Visit. The Extra Care Makes All The Difference!

Absolutely, positively go to Elvira. It's a fabulous, cozy restaurant where you truly feel like you are an invited friend. The space is beautiful and the service is perfect. But the food is always the best part. Who knew that the best pizza in San Diego was at Elvira? I love pizza and honestly have not found any place in the County that makes a better pizza. I also love bucatini amatriciana and, again, no one makes it better. We ordered three entrees and shared them, with the third being the Wednesday night special, which was absolutely incredible. My mother in law (who is a critic of everything) couldn't stop raving about the meal. All three entrees and the special appetizer were as good as Italian food gets in San Diego. I will be back as soon as I possibly can.

We always have a great time and delicious food. Never disappoints. One of our staples and one where we bring out of town guests.

Very nice ambiance greets you, and strong overhead heaters even would make outdoor dining palatable. The service was very pleasant- Ian was our server who was very accommodating and efficient. The food was a cut above, everything was delicious and well presented, and the wine list was excellent as well, but everything was pricey. Dessert was not a large portion nor amazing- so $16 was overpriced for what you got- but on balance I would definitely recommend this place for a well- paced delicious dinner.

We started with the burrata special. The pork chop was amazing. Service was amazing. Overall, it was a great dinner!
