JTR is sustained excellence! Have never had a bad meal or experience there. Last night’s dinner was no exception! JTR Old Fashion on point, Wedge salad was awesome, Filet Mignon cooked perfectly, with blue cheese sauce and grilled jalapeños, Texas man’s dinner! Absolutely yum! Watched the rest of playoff NFL football at the bar and tried the Blood and Sand, another masterpiece! My date enjoyed her salad and drinks. Very satisfied. This place is a gem.

Very friendly service and interesting menu. Energetic vibe. Great ambience. Interesting people watching. Bit of a hipster crowd. We had the Branzino alla Sal, which is cooked in rock salt and brought flaming to the table and served table-side. My date and I concurred that it was the best branzino we'd ever had. Carpaccio special was good, albeit a tad pricey, but I rarely order 'market price' stuff, so maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised.
