Best Japanese Restaurants in Fire Island

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Chas. American Restaurant in Smithtown! There were four of us celebrating birthdays for three of us, and from the moment we arrived everything was exceptional. Our server, Joe, was outstanding — attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely made the evening feel special. He recommended the pork chop for me, and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. My friends had the Wagyu Smashburger, which they raved about, my husband had the Chicken Paillard, and our other friend had the ribs. Every single dish was fantastic. What really stood out was the level of service and attention to detail. Joe checked on us consistently without being intrusive, and even the manager came over to make sure everything was perfect. For a newer restaurant, the professionalism, atmosphere, food quality, and hospitality were all incredibly impressive. This is exactly the type of dining experience you hope for when going to a restaurant of this caliber. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend The Chas. to anyone looking for an outstanding meal and exceptional service.

Kiseki was absolutely amazing. The food was phenomenal, by far the best all you can eat sushi on Long Island. The fish was incredibly fresh, and hibachi entrees are included. They had a huge variety of specialty rolls, and all were amazing. Great service as well as atmosphere, but definitely would recommend making a reservation for a weekend night as it gets very crowded. Excellent place overall and would highly recommend going with a group to try different things.
