Best Japanese Restaurants in Fitzroy North

From the service to the food, the whole experience was fantastic and memorable. Our server was really attentive and made sure to accommodate our dietary requirements. The food was incredible, all the flavours and textures paired perfectly together! Thank you for having us, I hope we can visit again soon!

Amazing food and even better vibes! The interior feels like you’ve been transported back to Japan in the 90’s, and even the soundtrack was perfect.

The special Jazz night was fabulous. Great food, great cocktails and very attentive service. And the hosts are amazing !

Yet again, another fantastic meal. We drive 90 minutes to dine at Brother Bon. This time we had a family birthday to celebrate. Not everyone was plant-based but everyone LOVED their food. And the serving sizes were so generous. We actually took home a few "doggy bags"!! The staff were so friendly and the service was so fast! We booked for 6.30 but arrived at 6pm and they didn't make us wait. The room was half full when we arrived and when we left around 7.30, it was almost full. Every dish was faultless and packed with great flavours. I challenge any non plant-based eater to know they aren't eating meat! This is a perfect place to take friends and family, no matter what food they eat. There is something for everyone.

Food is beautifully presented fresh and as good as you get in Tokyo. Services is impeccable, calm friendly vibe. Highly recommend if you are after authentic Japanese food and experience.
