From the front of the house to our exit, everything and everyone was beautiful. The level of care and knowledge that J provided was incredible. This was my second time to Toronto…and my second time to Akira Back. I ate here for the first time 4 years ago and we have talked about the food since. I was not going to miss a chance to eat here again. Unbelievable food, service, and ambiance. Top 3 best food and experiences in North America….hands down!

We ordered a variety of dishes to share amongst the four of us. The quality of the food was top-notch and the service was exceptional - not rushed, but perfectly timed. The manager was helpful in suggesting a couple of items on the menu he thought we might enjoy, and he was right. Highly recommend!

I went with the 7-course tasting menu and drink pairing, and it did not disappoint! Each course was explained very well, the pours were generous (no complaints there!), and the sushi, steak, and trout were outstanding. The flavors were spot on throughout. My only slight criticism was that the bartenders seemed a bit disengaged. Perhaps just a long day, which I can understand. Regardless, the food and overall experience were excellent. Definitely worth trying!
