From the service to the food, the whole experience was fantastic and memorable. Our server was really attentive and made sure to accommodate our dietary requirements. Honestly can’t tell you which was my favourite dish because every single course smashed it out of the park. This was the most memorable dining experience I’ve had in a Melbourne restaurant and am looking forward to many more visits in the future.

My husband and I have dined at Tsuru three times in the last couple of months. This is why we love it: the food is outstanding; the service is friendly, prompt and helpful; the music is pleasant and not too loud; it's in a pleasant part of the city. We also particularly enjoyed the advice we received one evening on which sake to order - and it was wonderful!

We had a wonderful dinner at Shou Sumiyaki. The wagyu was beautifully marbled, tender and full of flavour, and grilling it over the charcoal at our table made the meal feel special. Everything arrived well presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. They explained the menu clearly and checked in at the right times without interrupting our meal. The restaurant had a warm, comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. It’s a great place to go with friends or for a special dinner. We left very happy and would definitely return for the wagyu and the overall experience.
